Trailer

The trailer is given in English so that everyone can understand and I know in English dub it might sound a little bit weird. I loved the trailer I love how they have shared little bit of everything. But I don’t think that anyone can guess the storyline only by watching the trailer.

Summaries

The anime is about an ordinary college student his name is Ken Kaneki.
Then he meets a female who’s name is Rize Kamishiro, they both met on a date. Unfortunately his first date has turned bad luck for him, Rize is a ghoul and she tries to devour Ken Kaneki and somehow he got saved but he is badly injured. He was admitted into the hospital but it was hard to make him survive without new organs so they transferred the organs of Rize inside his body which resulted him to become a half ghoul. From an ordinary life he realises that his life has changed overnight. The story is about how he struggles to survive between humans and ghouls.

Story

The story set's in Tokyo where ken Kaneki is being attacked by a ghoul who’s name is Rize but anyhow he has survived because of the organ transplantation and becomes a Half Ghoul which means he is also half human.

The story shows us about his struggles because he not a fully human or a fully ghoul. Meanwhile struggling he starts to develops the understanding about the true nature of the Ghouls and the humans.

He was unable to eat human foods but he was lurking for human flesh. He started to vomit whenever he tried to eat the human food. But he has satisfying meal when he got someone else’s flesh. He got afraid that he might end up eating him loved ones. He had no one but his one and only best friend his name is Hideyoshi. He hides the truth from his friend so that he would never lose him. Hideyoshi seemed to know something fishy is going on in Kanekis life. He always wears a eyepatch so his friend won’t doubt him. Hideyoshi has always supported Ken Kaneki without knowing about his painful life.

Kankei was not getting accepted by the other ghouls. But Kuzen Yoshimura who is a ghoul and he is also the manager of Anteiku cafe. Yoshimura has the habit of helping other ghouls and protect themselves. So, he decided to help Kaneki. He also teaches him many things about ghouls and how to survive.

Yoshimura also asks Touka Kirishima to help and take care of Kaneki. At first she didn’t like him very much but later on we can see them cooperating very well and she grows some feelings for Kaneki.

Kaneki tries to protect his loved ones from the other humans and ghouls and ends up being kidnapped by the terrorist ghoul organization known as Aogiri. That’s when we see Kaneki becoming as a strong ghoul, he was very weak at the beginning but after getting tortured her turned out to be the deadliest one and killed the one who was torturing him for a long time.

Review

My favourite song is Tokyo - Unravel for me it’s the best opening. I can never forget this song and I have rehearsed the song and I know the lyrics I can’t say accurately or pronounce it correctly but I know how to say it.

The stories in this anime are just very much fun to watch. Tokyo ghoul is a thriller type anime which has some awesome stories. I love the art style which is really great too. Some people gave bad reviews I don’t know why. Everything won’t go according to our thoughts we should appreciate this kind of anime exists.

I think people would judge this series based on the manga. Both are totally different things and you can judge but don’t compare just do it separately. Because that's just unreasonable to give hate to an anime.

To be honest the thing that makes this anime because it is about the big subjects of life as like death, hate and love, but the anime does show it in a different way. The anime seems to have more of showing battle after battle and many slaughtering. Like each episode has activity I have never felt bored.

Overall

I would rate it 10/10 because it’s one of my favourite and has my favourite song and also the lead character is my favourite. It’s the craziest anime and I am sure if you like to see fights and actions this anime has many to bring you excitement with those excellent animation of fights. But do not judge it by the opinions of others because everyone does not have the same likes and dislikes. We are all different and we all have different opinions and everyone should keep a boundary and respect everyone’s opinion.

I still feel like that I wanna watch this anime again and regain the nostalgic feelings. I have watched this anime 2 times already.
