Lekker Snack
Hello everyone, Welcome.
I don't get bored of posting several interesting recipes here and it makes my day very enjoyable. I think writing recipes is a hobby of mine that I have consistently done for almost the past 3 years, sharing how fun it is to work in the kitchen and writing to relax our minds.
In the midst of the onslaught of heavy work, social situations in society and also stress due to many problems and disturbing thoughts, releasing yourself in the kitchen and doing your best is a good thing to do. So, your hobby is the same as mine, right?
I think I remembered an interesting snack. I often bought this snack when I was in elementary school, maybe there are some who know about this snack. It's called 'lekker' for some reason I don't know, but maybe it's an international language and this food is known as 'crepes'. Apart from that, also those who call it 'martabak plate' because it is cook on a plate alumunium.
For me, lekker is one of the snack that accompany me when I was in elementary school, you know, I love all kind of snacks when I was little girl and it make me happy. Just remember, it make me happy, but I really miss that food right now because it's so hard to get that. The taste of this snack is different if you buy it in a well known place, it's better to buy it from the small carts that often hang out in front of schools.
Lekker, its sweet taste and similar to chips when bitten is a delicious sensation, usually topped with nuts and chocolate which have a sweet taste, especially sprinkled with a little sugar. But today, I made it myself because I have a non-stick pan that can be used to make lekker. So, read this post until the end, OK!
Ingredients;
- 100 gr rice flour
- 100 gr wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 50 gr sugar
- 200 ml milk
- Sesame and chocolate compound
- Pinch of salt
How to make lekker;
- Weigh the two flours used then mix them in a bowl large enough to mix all the ingredients. Then add eggs, milk, sugar and a little salt. Stir until you get a slightly liquid texture and the flour is not lumpy. Use a spatula or mixer to get maximum results. I even used a blender to mix everything evenly and get the perfect texture.
- Melt compound chocolate, you can also use meises, but I want all parts of the lekker to get a chocolate taste. Then set aside when the chocolate has melted.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan, then pour the mixture all over the pan, the thinner the cake, the better it is, and finally top with chocolate and sesame. I like sesame seeds, because they add a bit of crunch and texture to the lekker.
- Fold the lekker as desired, then add more topping.
- Lekker is ready to be served!
See you the next time hive friends!
