January 19th, 2021A major surprise hit this community 5 days ago in the form of a massive delegation increase from the one and only @davidke20. His delegation increase of 3,000+HP took us past 50,000HP, and I was so excited to see this that I increased my delegation to one 1HP less than Dave, allowing him to remain the almighty ASEAN Hive Emperor. Even with HIVE's price in the dumps at the moment, our community voting power remains strong, and I can only imagine how big our vote will be when HIVE rebounds. Also, this post comes late because my family and I are loading up the tuk-tuk and about to head into the wild west towards Pramoey, Cambodia.
We received another big delegation increase from @winelay, taking her from 100HP to 250HP, a massive share of her total HP. @rosmadirazali also bumped his delegation up to 110HP. We have a new delegator, @maulidar, who starts off with 50HP, an ASEAN Hiver than entered our community with some serious engagement on her first day. Also @rhosadah joined with a 20HP delegation, and every single HP matters. Thanks to you ASEAN Hivers for choosing to delegate and support Southeast Asian content while also making yourselves eligible for daily prizes and rewards. I can't wait to get this potentially dangerous road trip over, and hopefully we are settled in the next 2-3 weeks, then Hivin' will be much easier.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every Saturday I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you Hivers (except [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and more fair.
This week's total effective HP is 56,430, and total delegated HP (39,110 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP) is 53,608 HP, so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

That's fantastic that we surpassed 50k. Awesome! I remember when the idea of accomplishing that was just a pipe dream.
I had to match Dave's delegation, especially since he's got less HP than me and made a commitment like that. Although HIVE's price is in the dumps at the moment, I can't wait to flex our new HP when HIVE's back at $2.00+.
