May 27th, 2023Greetings once again my fellow VIPs, there is only one more raffle after this one that will be posted from the USA, then I'm off back to Cambodia. I miss my family and I more than ready to get back home and be with them. Srey-Yuu is still helping me with ASEAN Hive by doing her weekly Top 3 post, and this allows me a much needed day of rest.
There are no new delegations to speak of this week, but regardless our HP has increased because of interest rates and curation rewards. I am still powering down all profits over 10,000 HP, but now cashing out, simply letting it build up for a potential ASEAN Hive investment for increased VIP rewards. I still think a bungalow or glamping tent on our land would generate some nice returns from rentals when our property begins looking a little more hostable for guests.
VIPs make ASEAN Hive go round, and their delegations give us the voting power that, in addition to engagement, quality content and an all-around awesome community, draw new Hivers to the community and allow every quality post a chance to earn some rewards and get a little more attention on this blockchain. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 129,521, and total delegated HP is 118,536 HP (81,775 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
