Children's Day Initiative: Butterfly Bracelet with Wire for the Children

avatar

Hello to the beautiful and Godly people of the #jewelry community. I hope you and your families are enjoying the new week both in relaxation and business. Before I proceed, I want to apologize to everyone here because of my late coming about the community initiative of Children's Day. I want to discuss with you the little bracelet I made in reference to the children's day. I made the bracelet using wire and different colorful butterfly beads. I do understand that children loved what attracts their eye and I believe butterflies should be one of them.

I want to state that Children's Day was first declared nationwide as the universal day for children around 1954 and it's always celebrated every 20th November of every year. It was also more recognizable by the United Nations to pave the way for children's rights in 1959. This day has worldwide acceptance to celebrate with all the children nationwide. Down here in Nigeria, we also observe universal Children's Day but the government of Nigeria made it more noticeable for Nigerian Children on the 27th May of every year.

Children's Day here in Nigeria is almost the same value and respect as the 20th November world children's Day. The difference is that on the 27th May of every year, Nigerians do observe public holidays making it mandatory for every government and private sector to be on holiday. In Nigeria, children are given the privilege to exercise their rights and be happy as they are considered the leaders of tomorrow. Children do go for match pass competitions between schools from all the local, state, and federal governments. Whether the school is government or privately owned will all partake in the children's day competition.

In Nigeria, children's Day is not only to match but there are other activities that follow like sports, entertainment, teaching, discipline, and others. Parents are advised to take their children to special places where they can play and feel happy within themselves. Parents are also to use the medium to teach their children about what the world is saying concerning their future hope.

Procedures used for the making of the bracelet will also be highlighted below:

I have to cut my wires into pieces and then take them one after the other for the insertion of beads. I have to take one wire and insert 1 red pearl bead, 1 pink butterfly bead, 1 red butterfly bead, and 1 red pearl bead and then use a plier to luck the beads.

Now, from the bending of the wire, I have to insert another wire and from the wire, I have to insert, 1 red pearl bead, 1 yellow butterfly bead, 1 red butterfly bead, and 1 red pearl bead, and then bend the wire. This is what I did till I inserted the whole butterfly beads.

Understand that from the beginning of the wire, I inserted another wire and from the wire, I also inserted 4 pieces of red pearl bead. I also inserted 4 pieces of red pearl beads into the last insertion of beads for the bracelet.

To insert the full-stop bracelet hook, I have to cut a wire and insert it into one side of the hook and then use a plier to bend the wire to hold the bracelet full-stop hook. I did the same thing to the remaining hook stopper on the other side of the bracelet.
