Open Mic: July 24 2023
The Open Mic in Shefford hosted by Kev was good fun as they usually are.
This time he had a guy who read some of his comedic poems (limericks?) that he created during lockdown and beyond, he also had his son with him who plays guitar and sings, but he was at the very end so we only got to hear a couple of songs as I needed to head back.
I missed last night's Open Mic at The Three Moorhens in Hitchin as I was too tired and I doubt it will be on next Sunday as Kev is running a Charity Gig at the Sun Hotel in Hitchin that day at which I have a slot to play. He's still putting the list of acts together.
It will be a busy weekend as Steve and I also have a gig on Saturday evening. Practicing in progress..
