Hello Ladies of Hive community.
December has arrived, marking the beginning of the Christmas festivities. I want to share with you my answers for Contest #164 and, in advance, wish you abundance of love and blessings at this beautiful time of year.
It's festive time and we all want to celebrate. Share with us what are your holiday / Christmas plans this year.
It's been three years since I moved from home to another city, and this will be my third Christmas away from my family. Although this saddens me a bit, I try to keep in touch with them through video calls, and we have also set up a gift exchange game.
My plans for these parties will be quite simple: I will be at home with my boyfriend, cooking delicious food, sharing moments with my cats and watching movies. Since I live in Santa Marta, Colombia, a tourist city, there are various activities at the malls and on the beach. We plan to attend the events that catch our attention the most.
When I lived with my family, we had the tradition of doing the novena, a prayer that is said during the nine days before Christmas Eve, accompanied by Christmas carols and traditional Christmas food. However, being alone, I stopped practicing it.
If you had one magical wish for Christmas / holiday season, what would that be?
As I mentioned earlier, my wish would be to be with my family on these very special dates. Not only to celebrate Christmas Eve and the New Year, but also to share significant moments, as during this holiday period we celebrate the birthdays of people very important to me, such as my mom, my goddaughter and my aunt. Besides, I long to spend time with my friends, enjoying good times together.
Currently, I'm in a city where I haven't made many friends, so it's just my boyfriend, my cats and me. Sometimes I feel nostalgic for being away from all my loved ones, but I understand that my present moment is to be in this city. I am confident that life will give me many more opportunities to share special moments with my family and friends in the future.

Diciembre ha llegado, marcando el inicio de las festividades navideñas. Quiero compartir contigo mis respuestas para el Contest #164.
De antemano, desearte abundancia de amor y bendiciones en esta hermosa época del año.
Es época festiva y todos queremos celebrar. Comparte con nosotros cuáles son tus planes navideños para este año.
Hace 3 años me mude de casa a otra ciudad, así que esta será mi tercera navidad lejos de mi familia, algo que me pone un poco triste pero trato de estar en contacto con ellos por video llamadas y también hacemos un juego para darnos regalos.
Mis planes serán muy sencillos, estar en casa con mi novio, preparar comida rica, compartir con mis gatos y ver películas.
Como vivo en una ciudad turística, Santa Marta, Colombia, hacen diferentes actividades en los centros comerciales y en la playa, así que asistiremos a los eventos que más no llamen la atención.
Cuando vivía con mi familia teníamos a tradición de hacer la novena que es una oración que se hace 9 días antes de la noche de navidad acompañado de villancicos y comida tradicional navideña, pero estando sola dejé de hacerla.
Si tuvieras un deseo mágico para Navidad, ¿cuál sería?
Como ya leíste en mi respuesta anterior mi deseo seria estar junto a mi familia, no solo para celebrar la noche buena y año nuevo, sino también en estas fechas cumplen años varias personas importantes: mi mamá, mi ahijada, mi tía. También me gustaría poder pasar tiempo con mis amigos, disfrutar un rato de buenos momentos.
Estoy en una ciudad donde no he podido hacer amigos, entonces solo somos mi novio, mis gatos y yo.
A veces me da tristeza estar lejos de todos mis seres queridos pero sé que ahora mi momento es estar en esta ciudad, pero sé que la vida me dará muchos momentos más junto a mi familia y amigos.

Todo sacrificio valdrá la pena. la tristeza en parte es algo que tendrá que lidiar, lo importante es que encuentres un lugar para disfrutar la Navidad. Me alegra que tienes un novio que te va acompañar en esta fecha importante. Espero que algún día pueda encontrarse de nuevo con tu familias. 💟💟

I am sure you miss them loads. On occasions like these all you want is to be with your loved ones. Probably next year you can plan in advance to be home for the celebrations
