This beautiful flower that I show you today is a variety of orchid from my country Venezuela.

It surprised me today in the morning, in the trunk where I have it, as part of the species of plants that I have in my garden.

This species has a very peculiar name Lady's Eyelash Orchid (Epidendrum ciliare), it is an honor for us women this beautiful comparison, this is due to the form that has its petals, that in other species we can see them complete, those of this species are similar to hair.

It is said that this plant is native to the Pacific region and central America, between Mexico and Peru. Formerly known as Epidendrum ciliare, it is a tropical orchid found in deciduous forests. It thrives in intermediate climates between 12ºC - 27ºC with bright light, preferably a couple of hours of early morning sun, but not all day. Plants should be kept moist, but not waterlogged.

Among its uses:
Used as an ornamental plant in gardens.

As we see it is a plant, which in my opinion is already part of the variety of the flora of my country, it is beautiful to have this beauty among one of my favorites, as part of my garden plants.

As you can see my connection with nature is the best, that is why I am happy to continue participating in this community, by the way, one of my favorites.

Remember hivers to take care of our Pacha Mama, so we can enjoy it in all its splendor and be an inheritance for our future generations.

A natural mega hug and until another opportunity, see you soon.

Thank you for entering the contest.
I appreciate your efforts for good information :-).
However, I must also rebuke you. There wasn't much missing and your article wouldn't have entered the competition. You forgot to put a link in the main article.

Orchids are fascinating plants, living in trees as portrayed here they live quite comfortably for many years in the right conditions.

Beautiful flower and informative post about the plant.
