A difficult image to wield, perhaps because of my age, but for younger people it may be what is colloquially known as “a piece of cake”. But the image took me back to scenes from the film Ghost (1990).

The image shows a hooded figure standing in a narrow, misty street, flanked by old-style buildings, while a vulture-like shadow watcher searches for fresh carrion. The atmosphere is eerie and mystical, suggestive of a fantasy narrative, an epic adventure or intimidating death. It simply gives me the creeps, to think that it could be a dementor, if one of those dementors that roam around like in the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azcaban film (2004). The combination of all these elements, then, incites a metaphor for depression.

Whoever has had the chance to see Ghost (1990), will remember the scenes where behind death; either white silhouettes or black silhouettes await us, trapping us and leading us to hell. All depending on whether we have behaved well or badly, heh, heh, heh. I have no choice, I'll try my story with verses…

The figure contemplate about the vulture in the sky, is it like the vulture is disturbing the figure's peace?

I would say that rather than disturbing it, it balances it. I wonder what the judgements were to create it with AI. But still, man is haunted from the moment he is born, by death...

He is born out of the person at the end of my bed who kept me safe for many years. He had to bow his head plus I instructed AI to cover the body because the face and hands AI showed didn't make sense.

So no scary person but for many years the only light in my dark and violent life.

The cloak protects and is a good place to hide.

Harry Potter wasn't invented back then.

For life is ephemeral. Our body will become an inseparable part of the humus.

How scary @amigoponc. You have a particular way of seeing death that we are certainly nothing but dust. The poetic part fit very well as a story. Luck and blessings.

!giphy well done

I love the introduction. I don't think AI saw ghosts... From the seen of the houses it goes back a few hundred of years unless this person is going out in the centre of an old city in France (?)

Thank you for joining pic1000. 👍
