@faniaviera, the daughter of the moon; she is the heiress of the silver light. She was born on a night of eclipse, when the shadow of the earth covered the lunar disc. Her mother “the moon”, the moon queen herself “@diodao”, named her Selene, after the ancient Greek goddess, her beautiful curly hair made her stand out among the other creatures of the universe.

Selene grew up in the crystal palace, surrounded by stars and comets. She was curious and adventurous, and loved to explore the far corners of the galaxy. Her mother taught her everything she knew about astronomy, astrology and lunar magic, “inheriting all her candour”,

One day, Selene discovered a blue and green planet, orbiting a yellow star. It was @castri-ja “earth”, the home of humans. @faniaviera was fascinated by this world, so different from her own, and wanted to know more about its inhabitants. Among the many stories, she had heard that her father lived there.

So, taking advantage of the fact that her mother was busy with tidal matters on earth, Selene used the portal as a gateway between worlds. A blinding light, like a subtle carpet, accompanied her. The portal opened into a forest “place of those wondrous spaces filled with animals, great trees and a multitude of sounds”, where she encountered a young and intrepid hunter “@miguelarl”, who was chasing a deer.

The hunter's name was Endymion, and he was the son of the king of the blue planet. Brave and noble, a lover of nature, of a good book. When he saw Selene, he was dazzled by her beauty and her luminous aura.

The forest was filled with a soft melody of Pachelbel's “Canon in D major” from a distant piano that the goddess of music Euterpe “@deeanndmathews” was playing at that moment.

Selene was also attracted to Endymion, and asked him his name and his origin. The hunter told her of the beautiful place that is the land, and spoke of its history, culture, and customs. Selene listened attentively without taking her eyes off him. She asked him many questions, which the young man gently answered.

They became more than friends, and spent several hours together, walking through the forest, admiring the flowers, the trees, and the animals. Selene showed Endymion some wonders of space, showing him the constellations, the planets, and the moons that orbited the planets on other worlds.

Endymion showed Selene some bounties of earth. Selene tasted the flavour of apples, enjoyed the scent of mint and danced to the sound of falling water.

Love touched the hearts of both, they fell in love. A kiss under the light of their mother, “the moon”. Selene asked Endymion to go with her to the moon, and Endymion asked Selene to stay with him on earth. But neither of them could leave their world, nor their destiny.

Selene knew that her mother would be looking for her, and would not approve of her relationship with a human. Endymion knew that his father needed him, and would not understand his love for an alien. So, with sorrow, they said goodbye, and promised to see each other again.

Selene returned to the moon, and Endymion returned to his kingdom. Neither could forget the other, and each night they looked at each other from their respective worlds, longing to be together.

The queen of the moon “@diodao” found out what had happened, and was furious with her daughter. She forbade her to return to earth, and told her that she must marry a prince of the moon, to ensure the continuity of her lineage.

The king of earth “@castri-ja” also heard what had happened, and was disappointed with his son. He ordered him to forget this stranger, and told him that he should marry a princess of earth, to strengthen his alliance with other planets.

Selene and Endymion rebelled against their parents, and refused to accept their impositions. They said that they would only marry whom they wanted, and that their love was stronger than any obstacle.

The queen of the moon and the king of the earth became even angrier, and decided to punish their children. The moon queen locked Selene in a moon pit, and took away her power to light up the night. The king of the earth chained Endymion in a cave, and took away his right to rule the day.

Selene and Endymion suffered greatly, and wept over their separation. But they did not lose hope, and continued to love each other with all their hearts.

One day, a wise old woman “@sacra97” came to the pit where Selene was, and told her that she was a sorceress, and that she could help her escape. Selene asked her what she wanted in return, and the old woman told her that she just wanted to see her happy, she wanted the sunlight reflected in her mother moon to continue to bathe the earth at night.

The old woman gave Selene a magic key, which could open any lock and activate any portal, and told her to use it to get out of the pit, and then to look for it in the forest where she had met Endymion.

Selene thanked @sacra97, and followed his instructions. She used the magic key to open the door to the tower, and flew out through the portal into the earth. When she reached the forest, she met @sacra97, who smiled at her and handed her a silver sword.

The old woman told her that the sword could cut any chain, and told her to use it to free Endymion, and then they would go to the moon together, where no one would bother them.

Selene thanked the old woman again, and followed her advice. She used the silver sword to cut Endymion's chains, and embraced him joyfully. Then she took him by the hand, and together they walked to the portal she had left in the forest. Back on the moon, @faniaviera decided to take @miguelarl to the great moon castle, where she would talk to her mother.

The queen of the moon mocked her daughter, and told her that this was impossible, because humans could not breathe in the moon, and that Endymion would die soon. Selene told her that this was not true, because @sacra97, the great sorceress, had given her a beautiful white ribbon made by @chironga67 in Hive Diy, which allowed her to breathe in any environment.

The moon queen was startled to hear that, and realised that the old sorceress was actually the Fairy Godmother of @faniaviera, the queen of the stars, who had come to help Selene. The Moon Queen remembered that @sacra97 had always been kind and wise, and that perhaps she was right to support Selene and Endymion's love. But the Fairy did not know the truth.

The moon queen knelt down in front of the two beings and said to them:

— You cannot be together, not only because you are different beings, but because you are brothers. The earth is your father Selene. Therefore, every night our light is seen in the middle of the earth because Endymion is your half-brother. The sorceress who has helped you, did not know that in the first lunar eclipse I was impregnated by the earth.

You are from different worlds because you have different mothers. You are like wood and copper, as evoked in the celestial manifesto of creation entitled Poetry Club, in the handwriting of @freewritehouse. Therefore, the wood “your brother” and you, the copper, are two worlds that face each other with fury and at the same time with passion. Wood is the life of the forest, copper is the metal of reason.
