Splinterlands Art Contest - Week 252 - Lensmaster

Hey there, folks. Today I got to sit down and draw the Lensmaster for the Splinterlands Art Contest. I think drawing a dude for once was a nice change of pace. I yoinked some ideas from the anime-style sketches I could find online and from Pinterest - btw do check there if you're lost on deciding what to draw or how to start, it helped me a ton and it does when I need ideas.

The Background

In my previous post, I was sorta lost on choosing a background that fits with the character I was drawing. As for this one, I decided to give him a more proper "glow" effect. For those wondering, I used Procreate's Nebula brush (I think that's what it was called) and it kinda gave him some some evil vibe in conjunction with his lens (and its glow) that I really dig.
