Splinterlands art contest | Queen of Crows

Buenas noches, durante la noche quise comenzar con mi entrada de esta semana para @Splinterlands, fue un trabajo duro recrear por segunda vez esta carta Queen of Crows me fascina, por los colores, la estética, absolutamente todo está increíble en esta carta y cuando algo me gusta tanto me gusta hacerle honor de la mejor forma, decidí hacer un dibujo de cuerpo casi completo, simulando una Queen of Crows que vuela por los cielos en compañía de sus cuervos en movimiento, esta vez quise cambiar la ropa, colocando una falda corta y un top, mantuve los guantes y el collar, pero quise evitar otros detalles que tiene la carta ya que sentía que no me iba a quedar bien, al final el resultado me gusto muchísimo, quedo muy coqueta. Espero que les guste.

Good evening, during the night I wanted to start with my entry of this week for @Splinterlands, it was a hard work to recreate for the second time this card Queen of Crows fascinates me, because of the colors, the aesthetics, absolutely everything is amazing in this card and when I like something so much I like to honor it in the best way, I decided to make an almost full body drawing, simulating a Queen of Crows that flies through the skies in company of her crows in movement, this time I wanted to change the clothes, placing a short skirt and a top, I kept the gloves and the necklace, but I wanted to avoid other details that the card has since I felt that it was not going to be well, at the end the result I liked very much, it was very flirtatious.

Proceso/Process

Realice mi boceto, esto fue algo que se me complico un poco por la pose, sentía que la cintura se veían extraña como partida, pero fue lo mejor que pude obtener jajaja, empecé a pintar esta vez elegí diferentes tonos de morado mayormente desaturados y asi comencé a pintar la piel, creando luces y sombras, luego en una nueva capa añadí más colores para finalmente mezclarlos y dejar una piel un poco mas suave pero con textura en ciertas zonas que a veces dan ese toque de realismo. Después de tener la piel lista empecé a darle detalles a los ojos hice una especie de maquillaje en negro alrededor de los ojos, quería una mirada oscura pero hermosa y por supuesto sus ojos morados. Después pinte el sombrero y el cabello usando dos tonos de morados totalmente diferentes.

I made my sketch, this was something that was a little complicated because of the pose, I felt that the waist looked strange as crooked, but it was the best I could get hahaha, I started to paint this time I chose different shades of purple mostly desaturated and so I started to paint the skin, creating lights and shadows, then in a new layer I added more colors to finally mix them and leave a skin a little softer but with texture in certain areas that sometimes give that touch of realism.
After I had the skin ready I started to give details to the eyes I did a kind of black makeup around the eyes, I wanted a dark but beautiful look and of course her purple eyes. Then I painted the hat and the hair using two totally different shades of purple.

No quise darle tantos detalles al cabello, porque sentía que se veía bien asi, simple, sin tantos mechones, aplique colores base en los guantes y el top, luego empecé a detallar el sombrero pintando con sombras y luces para crear los pliegues, pinte el detalle en dorado del sombrero y también empecé a darle volumen a los guantes y a colocar el color base en la falda, poco a poco fui dándole forma a cada prenda y después de tener todo listo empecé con los detalles, esta vez comencé por el collar que por cierto casi olvido pintarlo, por suerte active de nuevo la capa del boceto y recordé que lo había dibujado jaja, para el fondo empecé colocando un color base morado oscuro y luego agregue una luz lila detrás de ella.

I didn't want to give so many details to the hair, because I felt that it looked good like this, simple, without so many strands, I applied base colors on the gloves and the top, then I started to detail the hat painting with shadows and lights to create the folds, I painted the gold detail on the hat and I also started to give volume to the gloves and to put the base color on the skirt, little by little I started giving shape to each garment and after having everything ready I started with the details, this time I started with the necklace that by the way I almost forgot to paint it, luckily I activated again the sketch layer and remembered that I had drawn it haha, for the background I started placing a dark purple base color and then I added a lilac light behind it.

Pinte algunas nubes y luego la silueta de los cuervos volando alrededor, utilice un desenfoque de movimiento en cada silueta para darle ese efecto de que están volando a gran velocidad, añadí una nueva capa de luces y empecé a resaltar los ojos, algunos puntos de luz en la nariz y boca, finalmente edite la imagen arreglando un poco los ajustes de color a mi gusto.

I painted some clouds and then the silhouette of the crows flying around, I used a motion blur on each silhouette to give that effect that they are flying at high speed, I added a new layer of highlights and started to highlight the eyes, some highlights on the nose and mouth, finally I edited the image fixing a bit the color settings to my liking.
