The 100-Day Project; Day 65 - Mostly Doing Catch-up Work

Welcome to day 65 of the 100-Day project! It's hard to believe that I've actually made it 2/3 of the way through this challenge and have been sticking to it pretty well for 2 months.

Finished tiny stones from the last batch

Another very modest day today (at least from a painting perspective)*, one that mostly involved checking on — and photographing — the finished stones from the last couple of days, and making more detailed plans for what needs to be done before we head off to Ocean Shores in 10 days from now.

Seriously considered skipping this day altogether because I really didn't have anything much to add and I was once again busy with my other eBay businesses but as an afterthought decided to add a few words to keep up with the challenge!

Stone order for the Womens' Retreat, all finished, at last!

On the upside, one of my wife's counseling clients wanted to buy a couple of stones so I set up a "mini shop" on our dining table (as I typically do when we are doing person-to-person sales), and she bought two fairly nice sized stones for about $80 in total!

That was a really nice and totally unexpected bonus, and it will enable me to order some bags and printed materials for the shows.

Day 65 Stone Painting:

Wasn't even entirely sure I was going to find time to paint anything today, but I did manage to finish one of our smaller $12 Stones adding to our total, and getting a little bit closer to the goal of what I want to have done in time for the event.

Sadly, too tired to take on more. Such go some days!

Day 65 Summary and Social Media Bits:

Not much of a day today: Just one stone painted, but I did enjoy looking at some of my finished work, today. And it was cool that we made a sale!

Daily Twitter/X post: Check. post about my miniatures, using the same top photo as this post.
Daily Facebook Page post: Pass. Just not "feeling" Facebook these days... it's where I get the least engagement.
Daily Instagram post: Check. Another post about miniature stones.

Other Stuff: As usual, this Hive post; one small stone painted; Daily shoutout to @gillianpearce, who has now been AWOL for about a week. Hope you're OK, Gill!

Day 64 completed; another somewhat uninspired day, glad I had the finish work to keep me focused.

I appreciate you coming to visit and please do leave a comment if you feel so inclined!

Thank You!

Because I am trying to make some semblance of income — a part time living, even — I now add this footer to all my posts, in the hope that someone, somewhere, might decide to take a further look at my work, and perhaps consider supporting independent art.
