The 100-Day Project, Day 63 - Finishing Day, Ver. 2.0

We have arrived at day 63 of the 100-Day project.

Recently finished large stone

Because today was Monday, I naturally had a lot of things to do that related to my eBay businesses which meant I had less time for creativity than I do on a typical day.

Anyway, today was primarily about putting the finish coats on the second batch of stones I have going this spring. This is the group that has all the miniatures, as well as the 30 similar stones painted for the Women's Retreat group in the middle of May. It will be nice to have these things completely finished and ready to go.

Another recent piece, all done and finished.

As we get further into spring and eventually summer, this challenge is going to become harder and harder to do so perhaps it's a good thing that we only have 37 days left!

That said, I do want this to turn into a change of habits and I'm still hopeful that I can keep it up after we end and at least keep some semblance of an art blog here.

Two smaller stones completed today

Day 63 Stone Painting:

So today is painting Endeavors consisted of two more of the smaller $12 stones, taking me up to a stock level of just over 20, which is pretty good but still short of where I'd ideally like to be. Those are pictured above.

However, with time running out, I have other things I need to get done as well so I have to pick and choose carefully where I put my time from this point forward.

Example of our smaller pre-bagged stone for shows

One of the other best-selling items for fairs is our even smaller pre-bag $6 stones. These are simple to paint and are perfect little gift for many different occasiona. During any given event we have been known to sell as many as 50 or 60 of them. I don't have nearly that many in stock so I need to get started on painting those... got the first one done today.

Day 63 Summary and Social Media Bits:

One more rather quiet day today: Having some trouble with focus as of late... an example of how my creative inspiration tends to ebb and flow in cycles.

Daily Twitter/X post: Check. Post about larger stones.
Daily Facebook Page post: Pass. letting yesterday's post "mature" a little more.
Daily Instagram post: Check. Also a post about larger stones.

Other Stuff: As usual, this Hive post; two small stones; one mini stone; Daily shoutout to @gillianpearce, whom I now haven't seen post for almost a week so getting a little concerned.

Day 63 completed; another brief day, glad to be doing the next round of finishing work... can't afford to leave that stuff till last moment.

I appreciate you coming to visit and please do leave a comment if you feel so inclined!

Thank You!
