The 100-Day Project, Day 45 — More Small Stones and Creating an Improved Inventory Record

Day 45, and approaching the halfway mark of the 100-Day Project! Wow... this is really quite the challenge I have taken on, here.

The view from my creative space, as I sat down to start my painting!

Spent a fair bit of today improving the "bones" of my inventory tracking system, to make it easier to use, and easier to determine where the gaps are that I need to create new items for.

Yes, I "keep inventory." I pretty much have to as I have on the order of 400 finished stoned scattered across Etsy, eBay, Amazon Handmade and Facebook Marketplace... and likely another 100 or so that are "not yet listed."

Such is the life of what you might call a "production artist."

Aside from working on revamping my inventory form, I also spent some time going through my "collateral material," which includes descriptive booklets that accompany every stone sold, along with color coded organza bags that hold the stones after they have been sold.

Clearly, there are some things that need to be ordered soon!

Today's contribution: Stone 21 for the "Retreat Stones" project

Day 45 Stone Painting:

Slowly getting towards the end of the "Retreat Stone" project; painted the 21st stone (of 30 total) earlier today... and I will just be really happy when that is over and done with. I just hope it does generate some interest and publicity.

Today's stone pictured above.

And then I moved on to painting more of the tiny stones. One of the things I like about doing them is that I can experiment with new color combinations and not have to be "too invested" in the process.

My eyes were feeling a little tired this evening as our spring pollen count is super high at the moment, and my eyes basically were itching, and I was having difficulty focusing.

Today's four miniature stones

Day 45 Summary and Social Media Bits:

Finished multiple stones today: As usual, a Retreat Stone, and then four tiny *"Faerie Stones." Not super impressive, but better than nothing!

Daily Twitter/X post: Check. Actually managed both a morning and an evening post today; progress!
Daily Facebook Page post: Fail/Pass. once again, choosing to leave the UFO event announcement post at the top of the page feed.
Daily Instagram post: Check. Did post with a collage of stones, with a bit of text about whether all my stones have "deeper meaning." Hint: they don't!

Other Stuff: As usual, this Hive post; another decent day, glad to continue to build my stock of tiny stones; Daily shoutout to @gillianpearce!

Day 45 completed; felt rather tired for most of this day, and found it difficult to concentrate. We're it not for the fact that I have two very "structured" things to do — Retreat Stones and miniatures — I probably wouldn't have gotten much done today. I'm going to take my itchy eyes to bed.

I appreciate you coming to visit and please do leave a comment if you feel so inclined!

Thank You!
