Greetings zapficers, when seeing this week's prompt it is inevitable not to associate the word scrap with recycling. And great things can be built with material that is already expired in its functionality but whose pieces can add incalculable value to a dream and new opportunities that will give life to the unthinkable. In this sense I wrote my zapfic50 story for this week:

Marcos looked at Tom's old abandoned car, took out all its parts and assembled musical instruments for the village children's symphony orchestra. The children received the donation excitedly, their dream of going to the Mallorca festival was made possible and all thanks to a piece of scrap metal. It's great!

This is my entry in the weekly zapficmonday50 challenge, if you want to participate you can read the rules here, you just have to write a story in precisely 50 words, not one more nor one less and publish before Thursday, October 19, 23:59 GMT. This week's prompt is "scrap". Greetings and don't forget that recycling is vital!
