In the ones deep cold trenches, where the hoarse shouts of struggle, like the voices of the lifeless Pvt. Davis was regained trust in a basic photo. The photograph became of his wife, beneath the sky that one is pretending to be sunny. in the middle of the havoc and commotion of a war it served as his foothold to sanity, mild as beacon of hope to the darkness. when the shells increase and bullets crack, he turns to his face that image, recalling the lifestyles that awaits him outside the trench. the ditch is his brutal prison but he isn't always going to lose hope.
