WAKE UP , THERE ARE HERE...( A 5-MINUTES FREE WRITE)

"Wake up, they are here"! announced Elsa. Her voice tinged with urgency. Julia's eyes flew open, the time she has been eagerly anticipating has arrived. It's her wedding day and her parents and relatives has arrived.

She has left her country to school abroad, for the first time in five years the family will be united again. As she sprang out of bed and rushed to the window, she saw a line of cars parking outside. She saw her family, relatives from far and wide. Excitement filled the air.

As she hurries down the stairs, she was met with many hugs and congratulations. She hasn't seen many of them in years. The tantalizing aroma of food greeted the air. There were sounds of laughter as stories and pleasantries were exchanged. Her bridal girls were with the cakes, everything was beautiful. Julia felt a great sense of belonging.

Julia worked as a maid for a family but her intelligence and industriousness earned their love and so they sent her to study abroad. In her heart, she knew memories created on this day will never be forgotten. She wants to wake up everyday and and have such beautiful family around her always.
