Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's challenge. This is going to be my fourth participation in the weekly challenge and I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Noxious and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the Ruleset of the game, All Monsters start the battle Poisoned. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze stage. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Holy Protection

Ruleset IconDescription

Noxious Fumes
Higher HP and cleanse are the best choise. However, there may be some cases where you go for a big offensive attack and wipe out your opponent before the poison becomes a factor.
image.png
Thorns
When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
image.png
Reverse Speed
Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. Try to pick monsters with 1 speed because they have the best chance of evading Melee and Ranged attacks. Beware of monsters with Enrage and Last Stand, these abilities increase speed when activated

Noxious Fumes can be found with the following Rulesets

Summoner:

I chose Tarsa summoner so that my monsters would get an increase in melee attack and also an increase in health. It was an 18-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Tarsa, I selected a monster that does not take damage from poison or the noxious fume effect, that is the Forgotten One monster. Sarius was also a good option to add to my lineup because it has bloodlust ability from its gladius.

1st Position:

Forgotten One, this card has the ability to be immune to negative effects. This ability of it makes it take no effect from poison. It is a level 1 normal monster with a speed of 2 and a health of 8 with 4 armor. It also has a melee damage of 4 and cost 9 mana.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra health and melee attack ability monsters. My lineup was made up of four monsters including; Forgotten one, Sarius, Scorch Fiend, and Venari Kinjo. His lineup was made up of four monsters as well.

In the first round, Gargpya Scrapper of my opponent attached my monster first and the thorn effect damaged its armor but Scavo Hirling on his lineup restored it. Followed by a melee attack from my first positioned monster then retaliated with a melee attack and damaged the armor of his first monster. A melee attack came from my monster (sarius) but was missed on his first-positioned monster. The Noxious fume then took effect and three of my monsters were eliminated with it. Also, my opponent's three monsters were eliminated as well. We then moved to the next round.

Round 2:

In this round, similarly, only two monsters were left in the battle, one from my side and one from my opponent's side too. But then I had hope of winning the battle because my monster left doesn't take damage from the noxious effect.

I attacked first and was able to eliminate the armor on Captain Katie's monster while it also damaged me with three magic attacks.

Round 3:

In this round, we both had our last monsters standing but with no hope of victory for my opponent. After the Noxious fume effect, it was left with just two health and I was able to eliminate that with just a single attack even after the thorns effect ability, I emerged victorious.

At the end of this round, I eliminated all his monsters and emerged victorious over my opponent.

This was how my battle went and I won it with my strategy used. I think going with negative immune effect monsters is a good strategy for use in battles with the Noxious Fume ruleset. It was a successful selection for me in this battle and I think my strategy for going in for the Tarsa summoner was a great one. Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post.
