Solace IPA de Wylam (Esp-Eng) para #beersaturday

Ojalá este desembarco de cerveza de Wylam por España no haya sido ocasional y volvamos a ver sus productos con la misma frecuencia de antes. Es una de mis cerveceras inglesas favoritas y con productos de tanta calidad como éste, demuestran el alto nivel que tienen.

A pesar de llevar avena y trigo como la mayoría de las IPA modernas, el perfil de esta cerveza se acerca más al estilo más clásico de las IPA. Sorprenden el potente sabor y fuerte amargor, muy similar a la corteza de los cítricos. Muy de fondo vemos los matices frutales y tropicales, pero bastante enmascarados por los primeros.
El aroma si que es más tropical, aunque el color, que es bastante cristalino, vuelve a recordar más a una IPA clásica. En resumen una excelente cerveza, sin tontadas. amarga y muy fácil de beber. Si te encantan los sabores que aportan las cáscaras de limón... esta cerveza te fascinará.

Hopefully this landing of Wylam beer in Spain has not been occasional and we will see their products again with the same frequency as before. It is one of my favorite English breweries and with products of such quality as this one, they demonstrate the high level they have.

Despite featuring oats and wheat like most modern IPAs, the profile of this beer is closer to the more classic IPA style. The powerful flavor and strong bitterness are surprising, very similar to the rind of citrus fruits. Deep in the background we see the fruity and tropical nuances, but they are quite masked by the former.
The aroma is more tropical, although the color, which is quite crystalline, is again more reminiscent of a classic IPA. In short, an excellent beer, without nonsense. Bitter and very easy to drink. If you love the flavors that lemon peels provide... this beer will fascinate you.
