The #BeerSaturday Challenge - At home.

"Have beer this Saturday." Okay, that's fine. I'll do it. But nothing light. And in the quiet of my house. Fire!

The first step was to go buy it. Fortunately, there are plenty of places. It got dark and I was out of the house. So on the way back we stopped at a place and bought it. My wife paid for it! Yes, because I didn't have enough local currency. But don't be alarmed, it was on loan, so when we got home I replenished it in $HBD.

I like pilsen beers. That's the one we bought. None of those ICE or LIGHT versions. I want to taste it and have my taste buds have no doubt what they are perceiving and send a loud and clear signal to my brain saying, "This is beer my friend"! Although I like them better in bottles, I bought them in cans since the former must be returned to the store.

When we got home, after putting away what we had brought with us and keeping our clothes on looser, we uncorked our beers with that characteristic sound - it's refreshing just to hear it! She likes it in a glass cup, and I poured it for her there.

It was nice to end the day like that. Actually, it started out very stressful. It included going out on the bike and enduring the heat of the day. Then back out again in a bit of a hurry, while I left some chores unfinished due to lack of electrical service. And where am I now? Relaxed, with an exquisite taste in my mouth that will even make me have a better sleep.

This is #beersaturday week and I would like to invite @castm2 to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.

Why did it take me so long to discover this initiative? I must participate more often.
