The Hunt for the letter Rrrrrr in the Alphabet challenge Wahahahahaaaaaa (sounding like the Count on Sesame Street...)

So @barbara-orenya, #alphabetHunt Can you hear these 2 making a Racket to get noticed to be first in line for the letter Rrrrr, hosted by the Alphabet Challenge?

I know I can, cause they're ready to play after so long of being in lockdown....Can you tell which ones my favourite Racquet making such a racket?
🐌🕷🐍🐓🦆🐸🐁🐿🦋🐢🐞🦍🐈🦆🐥🐜🦑🐛🐄🦇🐪🦏🐳🐊🦀🦌🐖🐢🐏🐋🐝🐒🐙

RACQUETS.jpg

Then we've got the Rural River with not much water in it, but this is the river out in the country that I grew up swimming in when I was young
🐌🕷🐍🐓🦆🐸🐁🐿🦋🐢🐞🦍🐈🦆🐥🐜🦑🐛🐄🦇🐪🦏🐳🐊🦀🦌🐖🐢🐏🐋🐝🐒🐙

And here's a dusk, Rainy day Reflection of the city skyline on the footpath outside my place

And now we're Rocking out at the Rockpool- Bermagui, NSW here: https://www.visitbermagui.com.au/

ROCKING IN THE ROCKPOOL.JPG

And then Mother Earth has doubled my chances of finding the pot of gold- at the ends of BOTH Rainbows outside the front door of my old house a few years ago.
🐌🕷🐍🐓🦆🐸🐁🐿🦋🐢🐞🦍🐈🦆🐥🐜🦑🐛🐄🦇🐪🦏🐳🐊🦀🦌🐖🐢🐏🐋🐝🐒🐙

RAINBOW1.JPG

And this is a double RR too, cause It's a Rainforest River, up in the Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daintree_Rainforest

RAINFOREST RIVER.JPG

And then just for something different- this is a little Yellow Rose, which smelt sooo good. not like one of the factory farmed roses with no aroma- but a real, live one.
🐌🕷🐍🐓🦆🐸🐁🐿🦋🐢🐞🦍🐈🦆🐥🐜🦑🐛🐄🦇🐪🦏🐳🐊🦀🦌🐖🐢🐏🐋🐝🐒🐙

Haaa thank you so much and you're right, it is an amazing place to rock out to!
There's so much life thriving in that little pool!

The photo was taken right on the rocks next to the Bluepool, which is a pool right on the ocean, I've got some more photos of it somewhere. I'll dig them up tomorrow cause it is such a gorgeous spot.😀

Thanks for the beer! Next time shall we make it a cocktail? 😄

I wish there was a cocktail token too- I'd be having millions of them! Lol...

Haha, my daughter would love that, but I don't think I have drunk more than a couple of cocktails in my entire life 😃
That's why I think I'll stick with the BEER for the moment 😉 but should my daughter one day decide to work actively on her Hive account I will tell her about you 😁

Oh yes please!

Hang on how old is your daughter first??? Is she over 18? That's our legal drinking age here...so what is is for you guys? You're in Austria yes/no???

And funny I am the complete opposite, I've probably never had more than a few beers- back in the younger days and always when I was too broke to buy anything better, and I would always have lemonade in them to make them taste better! 😁

Whereas I was known as a cocktail queen for many years, because I used to make the tastiest and the prettiest cocktails from my head.

And I remember one late night after work, when I was living and working in San Fransisco, we were having a few drinks back at the Green Tortoise backpackers where I was living and working on the reception desk at the same time and we were talking about art and I said that I am a hopeless artists cause I can not paint, draw or sculpt and everyone (from all over the world) looked at all of the cocktails that I had just made them and said hang on, what about these. these are works of art, both in the taste and the visual prettiness, so you really are an artist.

And I was like huh, I have never thought of that before!

Nice story my friend, and I'm sure my daughter would love your cocktail art, but she has become 18 only 4 weeks ago and her father is very strict 😉

Haaaaa so lucky that we are all in lockdown- it gives me time to save and her to become older and her dad to relax and have 1 or 2 with us! 😁😁😁

I don't think the lockdown will last long enough for me to relax in that case, at least I hope 😂

Yes Bermagui really is a place of outstanding natural beauty- in fact that whole area is down there and it just far enough away from Sydney and Melbourne (it's halfway in between) to not be too spoilt by tourists and people moving in. It was also the biggest epicentre of the bushfires here at xmas this year.

My home town was completely surrounded for weeks and the sky was dark blood red every day for days and my brother said that it looked like armageddon and you just couldn't go outside, the smoke in the air was just too intense...it burnt 11.46 million hectares (28.32 million acres) and killed 3+ BILLION animals...😭😭😭

Pretty much the same thing that the US are going through now the poor buggers! 😱

We have seen the pictures from these fires - that was extreme. Of course we have forest fires here too, but these are dimensions which I cannot even imagine - our whole country would burn I think ... really bad what happened in Down Under and also what's happening right now in the US.

Yes it so horrible what happening every where to everyone- not just the environmental catastrophes, but also the man-made and the 'man' fiascos too. (you know who they are..the ones that 'lead' the countries into war, poverty, illnesses, death...)

Thank you, I am so glad that you enjoyed them! And yes, it really took me by suprise when I noticed just how reflective that footpath (and slippery...) is when it's wet, so I had to capture it because there's so many visual elements in it, despite the fact that its looking at the ground.

Thank you for enjoying it and commenting on it. 😀

Incroyable! What lovely R's and photos to go along with them. Your hunt was good, I can tell. But the Reflection and the Rainbow are for me the most beautiful among your photos. The Rainforest River and the Yellow Rose are probably unique words for this hunt. Congrats to your successful completion of the hunt. See you in the S!

Rain forest and rainbows reminds me of the Victoria Falls, these are both exquisite photographs.

Rock pools and reflections wonderful life through angles of light, with refreshing racquet sport along rivers, places enjoyed when young.

Totally agree with you a rose in the garden most definitely has perfume like no other, wonderful selection and use of telling the story in letter "R" @chocolatescorpi 🙂

Oh wow, I'd love to go to Victoria Falls!

And that's where Damian Mander and the IAPF are headquatered just near there too.- about 5k's down the road I believe...

One day soon, I will come and have a tour IRL and I can't wait! 😀
