NFT Tokens on Rabona - How much will it cost to mint One?

The term "Collectibles" are commonly used to describe nonfungible tokens (NFTs). We can find Elon Musk tweeting recently of NFTs and we could see some more value added to those tokens.

The first time I heard about nonfungible tokens (NFT) was through CryptoKitties that is seen to be the pioneer of NFTs, a blockchain platform where digital cats were bred by players. The sales of the crypto cats had hit $12 million as at 2017 (source). The cryptokitties can be bought and sold using Ethereum.

Looking deeper to the understanding of cryptokitties, we'll agree that in realtime, cats are unique pets in their appearance and personality and an owner always finds it difficult to replace them. An analysis of this unique behaviour inspired the creation of cryptokitties NFT. This gave a unique digital identity to each cat being digitally minted and stored on the blockchain.

Today, we have several games taking after Cryptokitties to mint their NFT on their blockchains. One of the unique addition was the major League Baseball in the US launching MLB Champions a game where baseball cards can be exchanged on blockchain. Today, we have many games Other fantasy games with similar builds and provisions for NFT token minting.

It is very interesting to see NFTs come to Hive blockchain and Rabona Collectibles is one of the options we have. This was the simplest presentation that made me to really understand what NFTs actually represent.

As captured above, Rabona minted an NFT collectible of Wanderers FC line-up in the first match on 16th March, 1872. The tokenized players have a model rating of 100 Overral Strength showing a super capability a player could ever have. The ratings are shown in the screenshot captured below. The reverse auctions will take place in the in-game market. The start price of each collectible is 150 Million RBN. The price is reduced at irregular intervals. Once a collectible has been sold, the next auction will start.

Definitely, the NFT players can only be purchased by rich players and TheBluewin had already purchased one. The collectibles are only delivered frozen (NFT) and in mint condition. This means that any player with outstanding can also be frozen and priced as a NFT.

I missed my first 85+ OS rated Goal-keeper that actually became too costly for my team to retain due to high salary then at the start of my Rabona gaming journey. He was quite nearing an epic quality that could have qualified it as Collectible.

Now that the funds for FC Creativians are improving, I'm pressing hard to grow my players to a highly rated point when they'll be frozen and sold out as NFTs. We are carefully journeying with my highest rated player, Filipe Guerreiro, While I'm afraid of his present age of 31.5 years, I am hopeful that he can attain some decent high OS (at least 90) before he hits a retirement age.

I am hoping that someday, I'll be able to scout a player 70+ reputation and movingsuch to 100 OS would mean a lot easier. I can't wait to have those terrific players in my team and price them beyond gold.
