A sneak peek on Hive businesses: Leo, CTP, List and Hustler

avatar

It is not like my relationship with this platform is new and I just discovered it. It is now almost close to 3 years and it remain always on and off. Games in this blockchain always kept me close to the chain but I never devoted much time in engaging here.

I have always been a good reader and this pandemic somewhat provided me the time to hang out more here and interact more. Though I never studied Finance as subject but I am always interested in the circulation of money, profit created and a business model created. (I do not know how many of you look for the company profits and operating business model after buying the product of a company, may be weird but I even check the profits of company whose any product I use, from Hair oil/gel to shoe manufacturer I read about all of them.)

Being in Hive and not looking for business communities in Hive is somewhat unusual for me and I just started interacting in them and building my stakes on them.

1. LeoFinance

leo_portfolio__lion_cover.png

What attracted me in LeoFinance is their continuous development of the platform, excellent communication with the stakeholder and some nice business strategies and grabbing opportunities to make LEO more valuable and reach to the wider audience. I also see the their Linear reward pool model a way to increase engagement and high have some high hopes pinned with it.
Currently hold 4000+ Leo and I have no specific goal, more I get ,more is better.

2. CTP

image.png

I like the idea of CTP embracing the blockchain technology on their decades old existing business. Tribe look quite a happening place and Jon is a great motivator. Recently community member in tribes are coming with great ideas and few are already implemented and few idea implementation's work in progress.
Currently hold 7500+ CTP and I declared that I will like to have minimum 10K CTP but I do not think I will stop at 10K.

3. HiveList

image.png

When Hivelist started , I liked their idea of Hive stores and listing but somehow look like they are not able to get the needed attention. But look like with Hivelist 2.0 version they are still going strong and keep their business building. I am keeping on eye on Hivelists post too and tracking how they will grow in future.
Currently hold 2000 List.I also read that staking 10K List give some benefits if you want to start your store in their platform,so reaching to 10K list is a goal.

4. HiveHustlers

They started with bang by airdropping their token to LEO and CTP holders but afterwards token price depreciated too much what they claimed in their presale, Look like nulledgh0st is somewhat busy as I saw he was selling his business hiveswag.io. In the meantime I also read they are going to fix their token supply with time.
Hold more than 150K of hustlers token, if they really able to create something great ,I guess I will more than happy.

So these all my holdings on Hive second layers business communities. With some disappointment in Hive , I am now banking my hopes on business on hive.

I have hope for Hivehustlers as well, it seemed they had a plan going, they just need to get things right. CT P does have the potential of blowing up big, Jon is super dedicated and the project is very useful, very important requisites for success.

Thanks for your stop by, Anyone of get clicked big, it will be nice profit of entering early. Somewhere I read that 99 of 100 business fail in which venture capitalist do the funding but the one which click is really become profitable for them to take 100 risks.

That's a very nice group of communities and each have their own potential. I do like LEO but still not felling comfortable enough to talk something related so I mostly comment and curate. I have some miners and staked Hustler so like you I'm hoping for the best for them. I know Hivelist but never went in depth so it's a community to take a peek later on.
And CTP...well...I'm kinda biased but I think it's the best one ever 😁
Thanks for your input!

Thanks Eliana for your stop by. We have so many opportunity popping up in Hive and we need to inspect them and engage with them according to our interest.

It is great start and works very well.

That's a really nice recap of some of the tribes that I personally also follow, and followed... Completely agree with your observation about LEO and CTP... HiveList looks pretty cool, and I should take a closer look at how can I contribute to it... I know that developer is an active and a great guy, but I'm still not sure if I can help in some way...

As you said about HiveHustlers, they had plenty of good ideas, but it looks that it was a too big bite for them... I didn't know about selling hiveswag.io... I have a lot of coins and miners there, and I really hope that it will be something from that project... If nothing else, there is always a chance that someone buys it completely and build something great...

Yeah @nulledgh0st posted it Here

Some time small and SMART goals make more sense instead of jumping on whole big ship.

Thanks, for picking it up for "awesome" content.

HiveSwag.io being offered for sale was a way for me to sell it to someone that actually has the time to market it - that's all it needs. Everything is built, operational, and has already had quite a few sales - but personally, I don't have time to manage that, the community, my full-time client that I'm on retainer with, PLUS building an agency that provides REAL opportunities for people - opportunities that might change their lives (they could easily generate exponentially more than they would in their home countries).

I released HiveBit.io for free for the community - all costs out of my own pocket - we have HiveBay.io in the pipeline. I've done a lot for the HH community, and I'm trying to do a lot and contribute more to the entire blockchain as a whole.

People are quick to jump on the ship, but when asked to help or even lift a finger, they suddenly become disengaged, get upset about token values, and complain - instead of working to add more value to the community.

By the time all these communities gear up for optimized marketing, we'll see a boost on Hive. THis is where the growth of Hive lies- the communities.

Thank you for your honest thoughts on the matter of these tribes.

While @Hivehustlers is going through a period of "stagnation", if you will, it's not for lack of trying - a little while back a turn was made to start focusing on community instead of purely just the token.

Of course, many people that invested weren't thrilled - and we absolutely understand your frustrations. I myself have dedicated countless hours and plenty of my own coin to build, maintain, and begin development on our satellite projects.

These things take time. There's been a conversation happening in Discord in the main #Hustlers-lounge channel, where someone felt like "gh0st jumped ship and doesn't give a shit about the token", essentially.

This couldn't be farther from the truth. Every single day, I have dedicated my personal time (time that could be used to build my other business ventures and make way more money), but that's not what I'm choosing to do - I'm choosing community.

Literally, just barely 2 weeks ago, we decided to launch a digital marketing agency, and open up the door to jobs for HiveHustlers (and even simply Hive members) across the globe - for REAL work. Work that you can choose which method you want to be paid out in.

Our agency has 7 members so far, and without even having "soft-launched" yet (our site is nearly done and will launch over the weekend), we've already secured a client for a project, and 3 more prospects in the pipeline - plus, we've already been able to generate work for 2 of our members (a graphic design / rebranding job for our designer, and a sizeable order of articles for a client to boost SEO).

Sometimes people don't see the bigger picture, or they don't choose not to - our intentions, projects, etc, have been stated throughout numerous posts on Hive. Then people stopped engaging. People stopped using the hashtag / posting to the community feed.

This killed off our weekly curation series, which stunts account growth (which helps fund future projects/dev costs).

We have a member (I won't name names) that literally only cares about the token - which is totally fine - but has complained in Discord multiple times over the past 1.5-2 mos, rehashing the same old arguments, telling us that we aren't doing our jobs and that we've abandoned and blah blah.

Yet he's contributed no value to the community outside of speculating the token value and scalping opportunities - which is totally fine - but that leaves out the community aspect.

Many people expressed concern before that we placed too much focus on the tokens, and not enough on the community. So we decided to flip that on its head.

Just because projects aren't moving at the pace you wish them to, doesn't mean that they won't come to fruition. Things take time - we only have a few community members that truly devote their time to helping us grow.

We are a community of ENTREPRENEURS - not financial advice or crypto trading. Sure, those are more than welcome to be discussed and be part of our ecosystem and culture, but at the end of the day, this community was founded by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.

We think creating our new digital marketing agency ( @digitalfox ) is going to be an AMAZING case study for community members, and even other Hive members in general. We are working on a strategy to actually create content to help others start their own businesses - tutorials on bootstrapping, how to set up your business legally, business ideas you could start up without spending a penny, etc.

There's a lot more at play here than just the token value on the market - but some refuse to see anything past that, which is unfortunate, but expected.

I'm very open to discussion about everything community related and where we're headed - we had a roadmap on our site, (currently down for maintenance) but I think creating a roadmap and posting directly here on Hive in a post might help put some members at ease - this isn't a pump and dump project. This is a community that I want to see thrive, one that can help people build better lives for themselves through entrepreneurship and education.

Thanks for showing up. Regular communication in Hive will be much appreciated.
I perfectly understand there are always some "real life matters" and roadblocks coming on the way.

Hivehustlers is going through a period of "stagnation", if you will, it's not for lack of trying.

Ups and downs are all part of an enterprise. I wish you all the luck,

We think creating our new digital marketing agency ( @digitalfox ) is going to be an AMAZING case study for community members

Nice, Look like I missed it on your post.

We are going through a huge shift in community - we also just lost our @OCDB incubator program slot, unfortunately :/

Focusing on community is now a massive priority - and we're also considering ways to rebuild community engagement by changing up the tokens a bit and potentially allowing people to earn rewards by staking their HUSTLER and curating with it.

We'll be putting up a post soon about some new changes and ideas that should really get people excited again - including news about the tokens

Sorry to hear that that Hustler lost the spot in OCDB incubator program list.

I will say not to rush thing, create a roadmap, share with community, Incorporate the community feedback in it to get revised roadmap and all can proceed according to the roadmap and track progress.

Very cool to explore the opportunities that Hive blockchain provides us. If you don't have enough money to buy tokens, just get involved in the community creating content and healing. So I am gradually managing to increase my participation in CTP thanks to the curators.

All tokens have potential and, over time, those who have solid projects will remain and whoever believed in from the beginning will benefit. I hope you reach your goals later this year, friend. In some it lacks little, success always!

The communities will only be able to grow stronger if people get involved and use them. Hivelist is still a newer community and still needs time to grow. It takes people actually using the platform for it to grow as well, not just people buying and staking the tokens. Hivelist is here for people to be able to do commerce on the blockchain, a much needed feature, so now we need people to try and use it for its purpose to be a marketplace.

I know that , At some level you can get support as an author in HIve, but I do not see any program that supports business in HIVE. something very harsh reality and I have written about it earlier on my post

Some extra motivation is needed to build community and I personally feel that business owners in Hive are not getting that support.

Yep that is very true that we do not get the support we need from the community as a whole and from the bigger orca and whale members, they usually stay to themselves unfortunately.
