Are Your Blog Posts Getting BLOG Tokens?
A recent post by @mvl2304 reminded me that I needed to begin experimenting with the vote multiplier tool on LEO DEX. While looking at the list of tokens I noticed there are a few tokens that can be staked that I have zero amount of. Those could possibly be tokens worth investing in. One was DBLOG which I don't see even being listed on Hive-Engine.com. A similar token was BLOG issued by @blogtoken.

I purchased a small amount of BLOG and created two open orders for more. It seems though that currently whatever sellers there are will only sell BLOG at around 0.01 HIVE when the highest current buy offer is 0.00050 HIVE.
There doesn't seem to be much of a community yet built around the BLOG token. @blogtoken only has one very short post from October 2020 and really doesn't seem to have made much effort in promotion. This is a shame since the #blogtoken tag can be used for such things as @dbuzz posts or @actifit report cards.
Using the Hive Engine tokens richlist link @doze covered in a recent post I see that I am one of only 25 users that have any BLOG tokens. The small amount I currently now have staked gives me around a 0.3 BLOG vote value on blogtoken.io. From what I can determine there are four other users besides myself who actively use the #blogtoken tag at the time of this posting: @botefarm, @jersteemit, @ibkdagreat and @hive09.
Despite around 1/6 of token holders being currently active I personally feel that there is promising potential for BLOG. Out of the total amount of one billion BLOG tokens that can ever exist only 5.137 million are currently in circulation and at the time of this writing the token has been around for roughly 100 days. It's still early in the game for adopters like myself to join. Personally for now I won't put much more of my HIVE toward buying more BLOG. I'll stake my 50% from each time I vote for a post that uses the #blogtoken tag to increase my vote value. My present rewards aren't much but payouts occur after 24 hours so I can build up faster than I could with most other Hive Engine tokens that have a longer payout window.

I don't see there any harm in using the #blogtoken tag. The problem is right now getting a small amount to stake. What I would like to see from this token is more involvement from @blogtoken and more active voting done by BLOG token holders.
In order to be the change I want to see I sent you 1.0 BLOG token to stake. It's not a lot but it should be enough for you to get the 50% reward every time someone like me who has BLOG upvotes your post

Thanks for revealing this information because this doesn't seem to be among the prolific tokens that are circulating here but your projection seems to present it as one of the tokens that have high prospects.

I joined early when the token was launched, I also complained about the short info about this token. Called blogtoken.
I've searched for the owner on Hive-engine and everywhere I could on discord. Couldn't find the owner. Very ssd for someone to create something like this and leave it to rot,while I'm here looking for a token or Community to buy.
It will also interest you to note that ~90% of blogtoken in circulation could be traced to the upvote from my account. You can check them up on the blogtoken Interface.
There's a global pandemic so I guess we could imagine the worst scenario. It's also possible the issuer of BLOG simply lost the keys to access the account. The creator of bitcoin seemed to vanish shortly after creating the cryptocurrency so maybe it's not the end of the world for BLOG. It would be nice though if occasional updates were made by the @blogtoken account.
Not quite the same situation but I am responsible for the MEME token. I was working on starting the MemeHive tribe but had to put that on hiatus. No MEME tokens have been issued since the brief campaign that allowed users to trade their Steem Engine MEME for Hive Engine MEME. Maybe I should post an update just to explain that there won't be any more updates for awhile but the posts on @memehive and the token info have @holovision so I can be contacted.
According to the DNS WHOIS for blogtoken.io the site will expire on October 13, 2021 unless it is renewed. The registrar for the BLOG token site is the same one as I use for holovision.tv. so I know it's possible to deposit money into an account balance to cover automatic renewals. Blogtoken.io still being up after October 13 later this year doesn't necessarily prove anything about the issuer still being active but I will take it as at least a positive sign if the site is renewed.

Can I tag this along my actifit reports to get the token? Seems like a blog to me.
It's not my token so I can't officially say yes or no but it's one of the possible uses I mentioned in my post. I've already used it for a few of my Actifit Report Cards and I'll keep doing it until whoever runs @blogtoken shows up and orders me to stop.😀

Thanks. I will also do the same. Also, neoxian and archon are muted for Actifit so you won't get any tokens for them. I think there are also a few more that muted the Actifit community but I haven't looked into them.
I didn't realize neoxian was muting actifit. Thanks for the information. I know stemgeeks does mute but since I am stuck indoors due to pandemic I am reviewing science YouTube videos for the report cards so I just put #science anyway.😀

I don't know. Maybe a lazy one. The original Satoshi Nakamoto was at least around long enough to have left behind some forum posts. @blogtoken just left behind one short post before vanishing.

Fair enough. I think it's gotten slightly more active since I made my post but it would be far better if @blogtoken made an update and started promoting the token.
No, but I think they will be. It's hard to keep up with all of the tokens. What's funny is that some of them are just regular words and get posted to sort of by default. I used to use the blog tag in my posts all the time, but I haven't been lately for some reason.

I agree it's too much and that's why I've only put around 1 Hive into buying tokens so far. I just upvoted several posts with the #blogtoken tag. Granted my BLOG upvote value is hardly anything compared to @botefarm's but over time just by upvoting it will increase.
