The love of a father can only be equated to the love of God

A boy is always thought to hide his pain, no matter the intensity of the pain he goes through. It is even worse with a father.

A father leaves his pain outside his doorstep so he can make his family smile. If a mother is an embodiment of love, then a father is the epitome of sacrifice.

father's love

One definition of sacrifice is giving up something temporarily good for something eternally better.

Fathers are best at this, a good father, who understands the intricacies of being a child, goes out of his way to provide for his child no matter how hard, that is sacrifice.

I know a man, who is a tailor. The kind of tailor who sews only the clothes of his days, not modern tailor.

He has six children. Two boys and four girls. I often wonder how he caters to his children.

He goes to the shop early in the morning and returns at night. Somehow they manage to eat, how through school, and dress neatly.

This man, ever-smiling and very humble.

One day during a conversation with his friend, I overheard him say that what gives him the rest of his mind is the belief that his children will be great people in society, and that is why he is always ready to sacrifice his last penny for their upkeep.

I know how seeing him make those sacrifices make me wish I had money enough to share, enough to hand him some and say "here, take it and make your children greater", I already imagine how happy he would be.

One might ask, where do bad fathers come from then? Who are the fathers who are not sacrificial and loving?

Well, how a person grows up matters a lot. It is usually difficult for someone who has not had love to give love.

A lot of fathers were not raised with love, attention, or care. But deep down, a father's love for his child cannot be quantified, neither can it be underestimated.

Understanding a father can be very difficult sometimes as their actions sometimes usually betray their true intentions towards their children.

They tend to see the future with the exactitude of a Jewish prophet and try to position things so they fall in place, they do this with the best intentions, so their children can live a near-perfect and comfortable life.

We may not all agree with their methods, the love of a father can only be equated to the love of God, and God does things as he pleases but with good intentions.

Father's love is something any child will love to have. Other than a father being the backbone he sacrifices no-stop for his children that's why great fathers aren't any less important than great mothers.

Sadly, some fathers weren't raised in the right wait and maybe got ignored, that's why they seem tough with their children because they haven't been treated well when they were children, but some of them were powerful enough and decide not to continue the same way of treatment on their children. so they tend to change and be the kindest fathers which will lead to a healthy relationship between them and their children.

Nice read!

You are right

Both the role of a dad and mum cannot be overstated. They rely heavily on each other, and none is more important than the other

It's true that most parents tend to abuse their children because of their childhood experiences.

And at the same time, there are those who suffered abuse, but, grew out of it, thereby, building healthy relationship with their children

Thanks for your contribution, sir

Definitely,it is very good to see this and I must say this is just a perfect way to let us know the love we gat from the father.

As many tend to think or believe they all is on the mother which I don't say no to,but the father this day's as been very much available in looking out for their children.

Let me let you know that I agreed with you that the father is an epitome of sacrifice and they do go out of their ways at times to make sure that their children get a good life.

A very wonderful story used by you to backup your content and I must say I see what you felt immediately you see how passionate that man was about his children becoming great in life.

The roles of that father's too can't be overlooked, even if we don't have father's day every week or Months like the mother's own,we still keep it in our mind that they are the most scarificaial person in a home

,even if we don't have father's day every week or Months like the mother's own

Lol.... This part is funny because we usually have more days to celebrate mothers than we do for fathers

Definitely I remember one day I asked my uncle ,that hope next Sunday is not mother's day or woman days again, cause in the space of one month if am not exaggerating things, different celebrations happens and it as to do with mother or woman ,as if that is not enough the following month I heard them saying in my church that coming Sunday again is world female day and I was like now I know where the problem is from.

If am not mistaken we only celebrated father's day once in a year and since have grown up have not heard anything like boys days apart from once that I heard of international men day and it is not something that is well publicize unlike the women's own mate

This post reminds me of a post @trostparadox shared a couple of months ago for WOTW: The Power Of Fatherhood. I'm not sure if you read it, but your post compliments it very nicely.

Yes, @calumam, I read it, and even had it bookmarked on my system.

When he said his father spelled his love as T-I-M-E, I told him mine spelled his as S-A-C-R-I-F-I-C-E

@trostparadox made me remember all the sacrifice, my dad had made on all our behalf, since childhood, and it never seize to amass me

My God! I went back and found I had left behind a very interesting comment... Lol

This is one of those clear-cut examples of integrity and sincerity, in my opinion. It's hard for us to completely understand what each other are all about, we've got to figure it out along the way and then weigh up the person behind the account based on their actions.

No doubts in my mind that my support isn't wasted on you. Thanks for making the job easier for me!

Ha.... Don't do this, please

You are bringing back lots of memories for me

Yesterday, I saw a movie after creating this post and it centered around a man whose past wasn't something he wanted to live with his family

He rid himself of it, muted it, if I must say, but circumstances made his true colors show

His family got to know who he is and who his father was.... They both fought insurgency battles together

At the end of the movies, a soundtrack was played, it was cool, so I stayed back and listened

I listened and the artist said a few lines that struck me, it goes like this 👇👇

I am just a man whose intentions are good. Please, don't let me be misunderstood

So when you said this 👇👇

we've got to figure it out along the way and then weigh up the person behind the account based on their actions.

I remembered, once, I heard those lines, I had reconsidered my ways, and thought of all the actions I have taken in the last few years, I saw that I was almost the same person he described

So I went to my wall and wrote

IMG_20210720_121610_42.jpg

It sounded like a prayer to me, and you talking about weighing the actions of a person behind an account makes me realize the connections

No doubts in my mind that my support isn't wasted on you.

I am grateful for all of your support, in the last few months that I have met you. I couldn't ask for a better chaperone

Thank you
