This is my entry for the #monomad challenge- on the 12 month anniversary

So 12 months ago, this scene and many others around Australia were a sight of utter monochromatic tragedy as everything in sight- every blade of grass, leaf, insect and poor animal, had turned black, with only the hottest of embers and the driest of ash, white.

But the colour- the life is slowly coming back to continue to give life in amongst our #amazingnature.

I took these photos through the bus window nearly 4 weeks ago, as I came home for the first time since early Dec 2019 to see my 85yr old dad and brother for xmas/NY.

So thanks to @monochromes for creating the #monomad Challenge and making me realise just how much beauty can be seen in B&W and not everything has to be in over saturated colour (except me...I HAVE to be always wearing oversaturated colour....🤣..)

Yes, I remember very well how it was shown that forests and fields burned in Australia, many animals perished. This is, of course, a tragedy. It's good that nature is living again, and we live in this amazing world.

Yes, a very hard time to forget and will be for so long as so many people and the bush are still trying to recover from it.

Can't wait to see the green popping back up amongst all that has been burned 😊

Funny how you say that you are over saturated in color. In life, literally and figuratively. I am myself very colorful and am not afraid to dress in a lot of colors hihihi

I do appreciate black clothes now and then though, as it's so easy to wear and match with other colors

(Edited)

So great to hear that there another lover of colour out there in the world somewhere too!

I feel like I'm the only one- atleast the only one who's comfortable wearing it anyway.

Black is a great colour for accessories and I am violently allergic to gray!

Maybe we should start a colouristology clothing fashion community...lol...

Hey that would be awesome... haha

Sometimes I think "I live in the wrong country". It's a small country with a population of half a million and some antiquated ideas 🙈
I think some areas of USA and Japan, oh and South Korea are more daring when it comes to matching colors.

I don't mind grey for a suit or pants or skirt though. I think I could wear every color, except for yellow and orange because of my complexion. I am myself a bit on the yellow side 😂

Haaaa and most timse I think I live in the wrong country!

So for bright, happy, colourful and funloving girls like us- which would be the best country?

I think maybe Istanbul, Spain somewhere, some parts of the USA are (lived there for a couple of years..) I like tropical too (more colour and lush greenery) Oooh ooh Thailand! I love Thailand, the Thai people are just gorgeous and everywhere it's FULL of colour (plus its tropical too and there's so many magnificent animals there too) Soooo, you, me and Thailand??? 😃

I can't see why not orange and yellow... I think you would look SENSATIONAL in orange and yellow BECAUSE of your complexion...

Not mentioning the gray....🤢🤣🙃🤢
