The team leader has announced the holidays, but this idea must go on "paper" :-)

Greetings to all fans of Amazing Nature Community

linethema.png

Yesterday, while walking through the quiet nature in the morning, I stopped at a neighboring pond and took a few photos. At the same time, I realized that I almost always photograph the pond from different angles.
What do I mean by that?

I am announcing an extraordinary Thematic Challenge
with a subtitle (topic)
Over time

Surely you have your favorite piece of nature. It looks different in the morning, differently at noon and differently in the evening. The appearance simply changes every day depending on the time.

Your task for this challenge will be to introduce us to your favorite place at different times. It is a time-consuming challenge and therefore you have time to meet it until March 21, 2021

This special challenge has its special rules:

  • take as many photos of one place at different times (days or weeks)
  • Create a video slideshow or GIF from your photos
  • One week before the end of the challenge, you will be invited to present your observations in a separate article
  • the article with the results of your observation must contain a video slideshow or GIF, a maximum of one introductory photo and, of course, a thorough textual presentation of your observation
  • Due to the nature of the presentation, cross-post from 3speak or Dtube is allowed
  • The general rules also apply to this challenge and can be found, for example, in this article by @adalger

As with any challenge, I give a small sample for your inspiration :-)

During one visit to my parents, I went for a walk in the woods. I watched the sky and the nearby hills, where the clouds crossed the ridge of the mountains. In half an hour, I took 32 photos of the movement of the clouds. You can see the result of this observation on the attached GIF.

I wish everyone a pleasant experience in fulfilling this challenge.

Amazing Nature Community regularly appreciates your articles and photos.
Therefore, pay attention

The Amazing Nature Community team is pleased with your interest in nature and welcomes all ORIGINAL articles and photos. At the same time, however, he points out that there is no place in the community for PLAGIATES.

Finally, I want to introduce you to the ANC team in an unconventional way. I assigned a picture from my archive to each member of the team. Hopefully the pictures will amuse you and the team members will not be angry with me :-)

We wish you a peaceful end to 2020 and a lot of energy by 2021

Some trees have "faces" and sometimes they show them to me :-).
I'm glad you liked the pictures and didn't take offense.

"Your" picture reminds me of a cat :-)
The topic is interesting. Perhaps it will "force" the fans to drop the superficial view and think more deeply about what is happening in nature :-)

I really had no problem with the picture for you and Neli :-)
We will see how many real enthusiasts will join and what they will introduce us :-)
I also give you a calm and safe end to the year @redheadpei

@bucipuci, do I understand you don't want any of these observations challenges posted by everyone until March 21st?

Individual observations can be published as a "normal" article for the ANC.
The overall observation for this challenge will not be published until March.
As I wrote in the article. One week before the end of the challenge, I will write a new article in which I call on everyone to publish their observations. The article will take the form of an official thematic challenge.

It's a bit confusing to me... I could use the post I did yesterday (Look Upwards) and post it again when you call for everyone to publish their observations or just post the link when you call for the publications?

On March 14, I will publish an article inviting you to include a link to your competition observation.
You will create a new article where you can use an already created and published GIF or video presentation. Of course, you can also make a completely new presentation and insert it into the article.
The purpose of this challenge is LONG-TERM observation. That is why the challenge is three months long

What an awesome challenge. I have a place in mind, let's see if I can figure out how to do it as a Gif. Mine keep failing

:-)
The basis is a sufficient number of photographs. I can recommend an online program for processing at https://gifmaker.org
Just upload photos to the program, adjust the image size and playback speed. The program will take care of everything else.
However, keep in mind that the size of one file for Hive should not exceed 8.5 MB

Cheers for that. Cam phone should be OK and I can reduce the image or string it together into a vid

It depends on you which format (gif or video) you choose. Both variants are possible.

Interesting challenge I've been taking photos from my favorite spot for quite some time now so I'll collect more and compose them into a slide show.

Love your awesome photos of your team members - gave me a smile!

I'm glad you were interested in the challenge. You have until March 2021 to collect photos and process them :-)
Thanks for evaluating the "pictures" of the team :-)
