MY BATTLE Weekly Challenge! SPINEBACK TURTLE
Hello everyone!
Today I bring you this new post about the Weekly Challenge, this time is about using the Spineback Turtle card, a water element mini tank, here below I will leave all the details of the fight and the card, and how you can use this card optimally in different types of situations that may arise., without further ado let's start.
Spineback Turtle.
Edition: ALPHA/BETA
Rarity: COMMON
Element: WATER
Attack: MELEE
Abilities: Thorns at level 4
I loved this card before they took it out of the ghost cards, this was my favorite tank to use with magic in low mana battles, because it costs only 4 points of mana and has 6 points of life plus 2 of shield, that makes it hold a lot in this kind of battles, even against magic, the Little League ruleset is perfect for this card because when you play like this, you will realize that few cards have as much life as this one at that mana level, that's why I think its maximum importance lies in that, in low mana battles. (like the example battle I did here) its Alpha version costs about 9$ (8.95$ approximately) and its beta version costs almost 4.5$ (4.15$ approximately). For me it's a great investment to buy the Alpha because it gives you DEC bonus for victory and Kelya boosts her shield, making it even more useful in low mana battles. Leaving that aside, I like its design a lot, I think it's one of the most beautiful cards of this Alpha/Beta edition.
How to use Spineback Turtle?
Obviously this card should be used as a tank, in first position, in battles where the melee can attack from any position can be used as a secondary card if you want, but in normal situations always goes first, the idea is to turn it into a wall to stop the attacks while the secondary line weakens the opponent, cards like Merdaali Guardian and Scavo Hireling can work very well as support for this card, if the mana allows you could combine the three and make this card has a lot of durability. A good possible alignment would be:
- Kelya Frendul as Summoner.
- Spineback Turtle. as a Tank.
- Deeplurker.
- Merdaali Guardian.
- Scavo Hireling.
- Sand Worm.
- Axemaster.
A lineup like this will destroy the second enemy line in a few turns, Spineback Turtle will hold a lot because in each turn will heal both his life and his shield for the supports he has behind and the Axemaster helps the Turtle in the only thing that weakens a little, which is attacking (only has 1 damage).
My Battle.
In my battle I couldn't form this lineup due to lack of mana, but I could take advantage of it to line up my two new golden acquisitions, Kulu Swimhunter and Pelacor Bandit. Merdaali was in charge of healing the turtle that lasted a lot in the battle and thanks to that I was able to win this duel, and the Ice Pixie was the turtle's helper, doing magic damage. As soon as the battle started my Ice Pixie eliminated her first card, she received 4 points of damage but the Merdaali's healing would make her last one more round, enough for my cards to do a lot of damage and leave the battle totally doomed thanks to the secondary attacks that my Spineback Turtle's tanking allowed. An update on how my plan is going.
As I said in this post, I am carrying out a new plan to increase my account organically, the first goal is to reach Bronze 2 without renting, for that I need 1000 Power points, and today thanks to the reward of this post, I could acquire these cards:
320 power points, I could have gotten more power with the money I invested but I use these cards quite a lot, besides I think Venari Wavesmith is going to revalue a lot over time because it is a very good card, that's why I bought 2 of them. The golden water cards will serve to gain more DEC per victory and at the same time pave the way to be at maximum level in bronze, so I could say that this is an investment thinking more in my future in the game than in my present, but without neglecting it either, a smart move in my opinion. I still have another 680 Power Points to reach my first objective, but I think I'm doing very well, I will make my first external investment to reach the first objective and start farming as well as possible this season. This has been all for now, I hope you liked this post, see you in the next one.
i used it before too! and it's a great card :)
that's right, I really like this turtle, I'm going to buy one as soon as I can.
I didn't use it as often but I see it's better than I thought.
