Basically, cryptocurrency wallets are software program created for the motive of crypto storing and grants the transactions of crypto trading. Though, they didn't clasp the currencies within them since their operating system is differ from that of digital or physical wallets.

I don't know much about crypto wallet before joining the hive blockchain since I don't know much about crypto's as well. But thanks to the Hive Blockchain which is my gate way to the crypto space. I have realized what the crypto wallets are and how significance they are.

Crypto wallets consist of two parts which are the public and private key and each part has it own functions on the blockchain since it is built for storing of cryptos and allow transactions as well. Though the crypto wallet might not clasp on to the funds itself, like I said earlier but it allow the blockchain to recognize any individual as the owner of his or her assets. And that is why they usually say that, if it is not your key then it is not your crypto. This words means how important our keys are and in sense that those keys are actually our assets. If the keys are lost or got compromised, it simply means our assets has gone already.

The two keys are different and play important role. The public key can be seen as ones wallet address since it is required for other users to know in case they want to send any crypto over to you. Furthermore, public key are detectable to everyone on the blockchain unlike the private key which is not since its serves as the main password to one crypto wallet. This means it can only be seen by the owner of the crypto wallet and sharing it or exposing to others means your cryptos is at risk since you have already exposed your own security and you can lose access to your assets. In terms of to what extent your private keys is handle and access, the crypto wallets majorly differ amid one or two dissimilar kinds but nevertheless, they play almost the same role.
