Pumpkin leaves is very common plants or veggies here in Nigeria especially among Igbo tribes. Igbo people are known for their different kinds of soup and vegetables cooking and they are very good at that.

Pumpkin leaves is commonly called "UGU" in Nigeria and it is edible and taste like spinach when cooked but the tender leaves is advisable as it's contains all the nutrients. The color of the pumpkin leave is usually dark green or grey green and it is a year round plants.

Pumpkin leaves possess different kinds of nutrients which are good for the body, like calcium, iron, folate, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium .
Pumpkin leaves is known to be rich in vitamin A, vitamin B and vitamin C which is needed for our body safety.

Pumpkin leaves can be planted in two ways, either by seed planting or by propagating.
