Have you been singing or dancing today? It is Tuesday afterall and of course that means it is time for #threetunetusday or #ttt for short!
I am sure that you know what that it is😃
If you don't, well then you have come to the right place!

The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
This morning I was down in town dropping off some clothes and books to one of the animal charity shops, and of course I was thinking about music. I loved the feedback that I got from many of you when I shared a song in Who Do You Wish You Could Be Like?
The singer in question was Rory Graham or Rag 'n' Bone Man as he performs as and you loved his song Skin. All the ramshackle goods in the charities shops reminded me of the UK sitcom Steptoe And Sons that he based his name on, so I decided to share another of his awesome tunes today.

There you go ladies, just listen to his voice! I love the video the way the animated scenese spring to life.
Sticking with the charity shop connection, I saw some of what the next song is about, do you know what C30 C60 C90 means?
I know the elder generation amongst us will know and probably have some fond memories of them! Did you use a pencil?
Bow Wow Wow were a fun fun band all I loved all their songs!
The lead singer Annabella Lwin reminds me of a young @dreemsteem with her pirate hat, what do you think?

Now I have veered off the charity shop tangent and onto @dreemsteem and her amazing project @dreemport. What can I say last week was absolutely Madness! It was a blast and Dreemie really does have a House of Fun.

I not only saw what you did but you picked one of my fave bands. Did you know that many of the band were from my neck of the woods in Camden and Islington.
Also, one of my most exciting bits of trivia is associated with Madness. D'ya know the vid for Baggy Trousers? Well, the primary school they filmed it in was MY primary school, and took place while I was there. Most of the kids came from the estate up the road (Islip Street).
I may have to do a #TTT post now. I could play some legends from, or links to, Camden. Amy Winehouse, Soul to Soul, Spandau Ballet and of course Madness to name but a few. Lol!

Some great tunes there. Rag 'n' Bone Man lives about 9 miles away from me. I've not seen him around though.

Yes, I do like his voice. Although I don't know many of his songs. Definitely worth looking up some more of his tunes.
He was all the rage a few years ago, and was on the radio constantly. A cracking singer though:)
I was about saying what the hell is C30 etc before you mentioned it is pencil. It is a type of pencil right?😀😀 We are used to Hb pencils ..lol. Rory has a good voice anytime anyday.
The song that reminded you of the pirate Captain was so apt. She looked like a younger version of dreemsteem 😀😀😀.
These are all crazy tunes.
C30 noooo it is a cassette, 30 was for thirty minutes, and we used to use pencils to wind the tape on from reel to reel!

hehe yes a cassette the number is minutes, they even had a C120 and that was two hours!
Wow! The good old days. I know I met some cassette in my father's house but I can't tell which it was as they were no longer in use.

Well, come on, I need details...all details!

was a very cool experience...I wrote 6 songs and was the lead singer...I think 5 of the 6 made it to the EP. (basically a CD that is usually less than 10 songs) Another song was written by another writer who led on that song. and I sang harmony.
I would have absolutely loved to continue but many times bands begin to have creative differences that pull against the unity and cohesiveness.
so it lasted for about 2 years... we had a great time, got to fulfill a little dream that most people never do, and just needed to enjoy it for what it was.
if I ever had the opportunity to sing again like that, it would be so wonderful. Singing... especially singing harmony with someone who blends well with you, and matches your vibe...is very very very special.
I miss THAT a ton
I get to sing with my son and daughter though...and that's awesome!!! we love that hehehhee
Oh wow! That sounds great! Too bad - like many great bands - your band broke up! But you enjoyed it while it lasted, so that is good, right?
I know what you mean. I did not record a CD, but I've been part of bands. Mainly as a musician (guitar, sax, and a little piano), and there is something very special about being part of a band and performing live. I miss that as well.

Yes I generally want to listen to fun and uplifting music. I am not into sad and morose stuff in music or films. There is enough of that in life without paying to hear/see it too!
