Monday Musings from the beach
Hello Hello hivians especially the Silver Bloggers and dreemers and ecencians reading this!
Some of you might know that I am not overly fond of pizza 🍕🍕🍕 , if there is nothing else to eat, then I will eat it, but given a choice I would and do quite happily choose something else.
So imagine my disdain when I popped down to our local beach and the first thing that I see is this ....
and this
Domino's and Coca Cola are two popular and massive brands, perhaps we should tax people for not disposing of their rubbish! So before I did anything else I picked them up and put them in the bin. It's not hard so let's all do our bit.
Would I have rather done something else, hell yeah I would, like be in control of this wee bad boy that came zooming past on the water...
Even the ravens decided to take a break from eating to have a look see at what was going on!
It was quite warm out there and one of the gulls wanted to cool off so was practising the look no hands face wash manoevre!
Then some of them carried out the bird version of dipping your toes in the water!
There was some low lying cloud which kept the temperature down, but it was still a cracking day!
Leaving you with last night's moon, only two more nights until the Full Moon!

People! We have such a HUGE litter problem.... As far as possible, everything I do for may stall is NOT PLASTIC.
And that is one reason why we would buy from your stall. It is staggering how much people still don't care and just act like irresponsible arseholes for want of a better word! Thank you for doing your bit Fiona!

A tax on waste would definitely do the magic, imagine a world where we will be charged double for processed food in cans, plastics, or packs and we will only get a refund back if we return the packs, bag, or whatever it was packaged in.
Mismanaging waste is hurting the world and I think its time we pay attention to it, we are suffering the consequences not nature.
Yes I think it would help for sure George. I remember we used to buy soft drinks in bottles, and when we returned the glass bottle we got a coin, they should do that again!
It will be the ruination of mankind!

Yes dirty bastards, just put the rubbish in a bin, there was one about 25 yards from there, so no fricking excuse!
The birds, well nature and wildlife is my calm space, there were some dogs too, but I popped in the birds :)

I love pizza, but not so much Dominos to be honest. However, I don't like at all litter on the beach of any kind and it pisses me off people who do that.

I think I mention this before, but I'll do it again. Scotland is on my bucket list of places to visit. What is the best month to visit for people that don't enjoy constant rain? 😊
ah well normally I find May and September the best months, quite often they can be warm and good weather, and there are not as many tourists so much less expensive and less busy etc.
The rain hmm well I live on the East Coast (Edinburgh) which generally is drier than the West Coast
(Glasgow). However the weather is unpredictable nowadays.

I took some tourists to Niagara Falls once. When we got there I was HUMILIATED because all over the ground were discarded coffee cups from a famous fast food coffee chain. What kind of people go to a natural destination, drain their coffee cup and then toss it over the rail of the viewing platform?

We never littered. We have nine kids in our family and my mom would have killed any one of us if we littered. See? I taught my kids. Aren't those things parenting responsibility? I would like to pass it off to others, but, when it comes right down to it, we should want our kids to be good citizens.
Yes yes yes they are. If our children see us doing something then it is only natural they do the same. Too many parents are ehmm lacking in parental responsibility for want of a better phrase!
