Splinterlands Rentals - A lucrative Income
Splinterlands has been a long-time investment of time and some money for me. As is the case for most crypto ventures, fortune always favours the early adopters. For a long while, I was just one of those enthusiasts that played my daily quests, got my rewards, opened lots of Beta Packs, then Untamed and got in on the various Promo's that came out to promote the game.
Now I find myself in a nice position to benefit and gain a great passive income from my time invested.
As I am writing this, my card collection is currently renting for:
And that is not renting out every card I own. I also delegate cards to accounts for players to work on a 50/50 return, however, the rental market is returning much more than I had thought was possible. Currently at nearly 200% APR, I am pretty happy with the return.
The price of DEC is also having a bearing on these returns and I feel the price of DEC is being pushed up as new users come into the game and want to rent cards.
And lands still haven't released yet. I don't know where this game is going to go, but I am happy to be one of the first to jump in and am now seeing some nice returns.
Thanks for reading.

I upvoted you, thank you for posting! 👍
I just came into the game three weeks ago, but man, it is one hell of a ride an I think, we still are early. You said it, the land feature is not rolled out yet and SPS will be a key for the coming success.
Good times ahead :o).

It's pretty surreal. I'm not in quite the same spot as you, but I might've been if I didn't make the extremely foolish decision to sell all of my cards in early 2020. I got back in early enough that it still really paid off, though. I just wish I had some of those max level Beta cards back. Oh well!
I'm getting usually 13-15 DEC a day, though, which is great at the current price. I wouldn't be so excited about that if it was $13-15 a day, but who knows if DEC will ever go back down to that price. It seems unlikely.

Your rental has 24k DEC a day!
It is a very impressive passive income. I wish that I had invested more crypto in the project early in 2018.
