Beautiful banana combs from my home garden
Banana combs from the garden were collected just before they get ripened.
One was offered to Lord Buddha; the others are going to be sold or given to others. Only some will be kept for us. :)

So, if they're collected before they ripen, do they eventually get ripe on their own, or stay like that until they start dying...?

I collected it because the top comb has become to ripen. Yes, they will get ripe on their own.
