WE102 : The changed product
It's another weekend and it feels great to see another weekend-engagement, all thanks to @galenkp for this great initiative.
Last weekend was hectic for me so I couldn't participate in the engagement but this week I decided to try and make it even the electricity blackout.
This week, I will like to answer the third topic which is;
The changed product
Tell us about a product, food, item or service you really used to love but has now changed so much that you don't like it as much or at all. Explain why and what you replaced it with.
There is this candy I used to love so much it is milk candy, I can do without this candy then.
If I want to read,I must have this candy with me or I will no read at all.
As it's name milk candy, it was milksy that when you are eating it you will be feeling the milk in your mouth and when you chew it, it will stick in your teeth.
I used to have this particular candy for years until recently that I bought my favorite candy, what I met is not what I expect and I did not like it, I expected my usual milk candy but what I met is not milksy at all. I don't even know what I will call it because it taste nothing like milk. I chewed it and expect it to stick to my teeth but it just disappeared just like that.
I went back to the store that they did not give me what I want that I want another one and that is how I lost my favorite candy.
Some producers, when they see that the demand for a particular product is high, instead of them to increase the Quality and maybe increase the price, but no they will reduce the quality, the quantity and increase the price for. Since they changed the quality of my favorite candy, I have to look for another option but when I find none, I quit candy and replace it with eating fruits since that is even healthier than this particular candy but before I get adapted to it takes time.
Change in the quality of ones particular favorite product can make you lost your likeness for it.
Hi leemah1 there is nothing worse when you are looking forward to something and then you bite into it and find it is not what you are expecting, or how you remembered it.
I can feel you exactly!
Thanks for sharing about your favouring candy bar that has changed.
This is the case with most chewy snacks in Nigeria. They reduce the quality because of inflation and it ends up tasting bad.
