Amazing Nature Contest: Thematic Challenge -#2 - CLOSED

There are a lot of interesting things to see in nature every day. From idyllic views to dramatic shots.
We have completed the first Thematic Challenge. I will publish the evaluation on December 8, 2020.
It's time for another challenge :-). The topics for the second thematic challenge are:
In this challenge, everyone who managed to take a picture of an animal in an interesting event has a chance and they can also write us a story connected with this event.
You can also include interesting pet events in participating in the challenge :-).
For inspiration, I have a short story of a swan family for you.
At the beginning of last summer, I photographed a swan family on a suburban pond
The male swan stood between me and the cubs to ensure their peace
A stray dog came running from somewhere. The male swan immediately took a "fighting position", determined to protect his offspring
Meanwhile, the swan sailed with the young to a safe distance from shore
The dog was frightened by the male swan and ran away. The whole swan family then washed calmly to the other side of the pond :-)
You know what to write about and you know what to take pictures of.
When writing your competition entry, keep in mind that the text is an essential part and the photos complement the text.
To make sure everything goes according to the rules, also read the following lines.
Competition rules:
- Publish your contribution IN AN AMAZING NATURAL COMMUNITY. You can also use TAG #amazingnature if you want
- CLEARLY state that your entry is an ENTRY in this competition.
- All images must be your own. You can use an amazing nature banner if you like or you can create your own.
- In the TEXT Indicate why these pictures represent YOUR AMAZING NATURE. This is an ESSENTIAL part of this competition.
- Place a link to your post IN COMMENTARY. You can add an image if you want. It is NECESSARY because I have to publish a link in Discord on Sunday, 5 days later for voting and also for my own compilation purposes.
- The input window is open ~ 5 DAYS. Pay attention to - CLOSED in the title. Pay attention to the PeakD

- Only competition entries that correspond to the assigned topic will be included in this competition
- It is NOT possible to send one contribution to the main competition announced by the @adalger community leader and this thematic competition. If this happens, such a contribution will not be included in the thematic competition.

How are winners selected?
The entire DNA community will vote for the winners. That's why we created a special competition channel #challenge-entries in DNA Discord (Amazing Nature Contest). Here I will publish a post with the announcement including the winners (Announcement) EVERY MONDAY together with all your posts (Contributions) EVERY SUNDAY. Each DNA member will be able to assign a "voting emoji" under the items for 24 HOURS. In the end, the lucky winners are three of them. In case of a draw, I will join as a judge.

macro and tele- lens can do magic, ofc under some proper conditions :P

I only take photos with my mobile phone. I'm afraid of a big camera :-)
it has some pros, and contrast
the fact is - if you use to take a lot of streetphoto, if you love this genre... small compact camera or smartphone would be FAR BETTER - cause, er, the people ave ery scared of Big Camers. very scary. here I hear 146% of the times, 'wht do you shoot this?!' - even if I dont shoot that person who asks me... bad situation and nothing can debe done to change that (except of - using a smartphone)
but when you doing macros... or landscapes, when you need good quality captures - especially in the low light conditions (like, the evening, or indoors) everything is changing towards the Big Lenses and Cameras. (in my opinion. I always value the quality and technical side of photography very high).
Most of my photos are not planned. A mobile phone is enough for that :-). I can even handle a macro with the help of an additional lens that I carry in my pocket :-).
Of course, if I wanted to take a pre-thoughtful shot, a tripod and a large camera would be a must.
