Living Life One Day At a Time

Sometimes we feel the burden of not making in the life. Some days are like gloomy and dark. And it can make you feel really sad about whatever that is happening in this world.

So we have to take some pause. And as some people say we have to take the day one day at a time. I have managed to learn from most of my life experiences that living a day at a time is lot better in the grand scheme of things.

So how does one live one day at a time?

Plan for Future, Don't Live in Future Mentally

Some people have habit of speculating the future and then worry about how the world may be. And they continue to remain in future but does not do anything in the today. So that kind of makes you pretty much paralyzed and you don't know where to go from that point onwards.

As you can see that is pretty much dangerous place to think or even worry about. You have no idea how the future is going to be and so you have to ignore the future most of the time. One change in present can change the future too. So make sure to plan for future but don't plan on living it from today.

Learn from Past, Don't live in It Mentally

You lost someone in past? You were broke in past? You were miserable in past? Family was bad in past? All of those things are pretty much add up. And most of the people get into depression because of the same. So avoid giving into the past and make sure to keep moving towards the future.

I may have my share of such demons to deal with. And from that experience I can tell you that living in past serves no one. And you would only going to hurt youself in the long run. You have to prepare yourself to live mentally strong. That is what I have learned from experience.

Think in Compound Effect

You are not going to live in future and not going to stay in past. So you have to think what you do today you need to compound those things in the long run. You have to keep making the actions in such way that those actions eventually pay off if they are compounded. Like what you make habit of for years would be paying you off in the long run.

So start doing that from day one and build from that point onwards. You have to keep on thinking in terms of the compound effect for each of your action. This way you would be reaping the benefits of those actions.

Pause

Yes, pause for a bit. Breathe. And take some break out of all of that routine that you are going through. We all go through burn out the more hard work we do in our life. We have to keep moving in order to avoid being struggling. And that is only possible when we don't push ourselves harder. You should take more breaks before moving to another work.

And that way you would give your mind and the body some rest. You would realize what can be more important this way and you get the idea that tirelessly doing something is not the end of everything. This is what we should be doing to move one day at a time.

Life is not easy to live and we need to avoid making it more complicated by living in past or trying to live in future. So I hope that above points kind of helped you put things in perspective.

Conclusion

A lot of our life is about being in present and not push ourselves so hard. And that is only possible when we learn what we can control and what we can't control in the grand scheme of the things. You have to understand that being in present and living one day at a time can be pretty hard.

Have you learned how to live one day at a time?
