Gregoria Mariska Defeated Thet Htar Thuzar (Tokyo Olympics 2020)

I rarely follow the badminton matches, such as the Indonesia Open, Malaysia Open, Japan Open or etc. However when watching badminton, I usually more interested in bigger events like Thomas and Uber Cup, All England and Olympic Games.

On this occasion, I would like to announce the news that an Indonesian badminton player named Gregoria Mariska has won the match. Gregoria was able to frustrate his opponent Thet Htar Thuzar, with far enough points, namely 21-11 and 21-8. The Myanmar badminton player was defeated in 27 minutes.

In the early game (first game), Thet Htar Thuzar was able to keep up with Gregoria's attack. But, the mistake continued to be made by Myanmar player, so Gregoria was able to take advantage of the situation. Then, Gregoria finished the game 21-11.

In the second game, Gregoria's performance increased. Thet Htar Thuzar couldn’t do more, so Gregoria was able to finish the game with a score of 21-8 in 15 minutes.

Despite losing, Thet Htar Thuzar still received applause and support from Indonesia. The various supports came from Indonesian netizens, so they filled the comments column on her Instagram account.

I also hope for Thet Htar Thuzar. I hope her performance will be much better in the next match.
