I still read every single post in the community, and it brings me great joy to know that we are earning (crypto and more) from learning (about each other). @tampilyne upgraded her delegation and became an ASEAN HIVE VIP 🥈 SILVER, so give thanks to her and all the other delegators that keep the this community moving forward.
In totally unrelated news, I'm uploading a 3Speak video as I write this post, and it's because I finally got a visa to Cambodia. I am going to reunite with my family in a matter of weeks, so I am elated. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every Saturday I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you Hivers (except [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and more fair.
This week's total effective HP is 48,790, and total delegated HP (35,228 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP) is 46,207 HP, so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

Even though I don't take any rewards from this one, it happens to be the most fun I have each week putting a curation together. Mostly the part where I use the Raffle Picker to select a winner builds suspense. Perhaps once back in Cambodia and with more free-time to devote to Hive, I could build a physical contraption that picks the winners each week, that would be good video content.

Haha, I can't say no to that, even though you're already one of the most generous delegators in the ASEAN Hive Community. @gabe.radke certainly has the advantage in the Gold raffle each week with that 3,000+HP delegation.
If somebody wanted to be really naughty, they could delegate 99HP, 999HP, or 9,999HP, and this would give them the best odds in each raffle except for the Diamond raffles, which I guess is truly the more the merrier there.
well that would be naughty now wouldn't it. I hope no one actually does that. :)
