Greetings ASEAN Hivers, @JustinParke here with another ASEAN Hive VIP Delegator Raffle post, where I announce the winners and do a bit of rambling.
We are super-duper close to my dream of a total combined curation power of 50,000 HP, and it's hard to believe we've come this far so fast. My 10,000 HP+ delegation is nowhere near enough to drive a community, so you all should know that this definitely our community, and by no means my community, because it wouldn't be possible without additional delegators, massive engagement, and quality content. How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every Saturday I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you Hivers (except [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and more fair.
This week's total effective HP is 48,643, and total delegated HP (35,283 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP) is 46,130 HP, so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

Yes, we are growing and growing, and it's certainly keeping me on my toes. With this growth comes a lot of plagiarists and other abusers, but overall I like the direction we are going. Engagement must be the backbone, but without some HP we can't get SE Asian content on the trending page to be found by the whales.
I think we are now in a place where anyone that posts quality content with a good thumbnail and post title has a very good chance at a good post payout.
