Change and How to Cope When It Comes

Hello everyone, we are here again with the latest weekly contest by @queercoin with the prompt:

Change

What do you think about change? How do you handle change? What advice would you give someone to get them through change?

What do you think about change?

'Change' has to do with altering, making a difference, modifying or replacing as the case may be. In otherwords, it connotes the act or process through which something becomes different.

Change therefore enables us to advance in life and take part in new and interesting experiences.
Change can also be either positive or negative in nature. Either way, it affects the human person.

As one ages in life, the person begins to experience changes in his body system. This continues till the person dies. From crawling, man begins to learn how to stand, then take a walk, run, speak and so on. Those are changes.

Again, as one begins to work retirement will also come. When it comes, the person begins to experience another level of life. That's another form of change.

It can also result in relocation or change if environment, work, etc. Whenever one, it affects the person. It can even be accident or diseases that will alter a person's normal way of life. Those are also changes.

How do you handle change?

When change comes, you need to identify your strength rather than focus on the negatives. Your ability to be optimistic and see it as an opportunity to learn will go along way for one in coping with the change.

Communicate often and seek help when necessary. That way, your load will be lessened. It is said that a problem shared is half a problem solved.

What advice would you give someone to get them through change?

When change comes, you need to accept it in good faith and then reframe. Accept that there are things that are well beyond you. View change as an opportunity to learn and grow, rather than as a setback. There are certain things in life one cannot change, for instance ageing. So when it comes one has to accept it the way it is and move on so as to have peace of mind.

I love how you answered the questions.
Indeed change comes with a lot, the first step is to accept it.
Understand your ability towards it, and learn from it.
Also following the positive path to surviving in it.

As Bruce Lee said, be like water. Water can flow in to fill any shape. It's the same with our life. If we identified ourselves with the fluidity of water, and less with the tea kettle, cup, or jar, then we'd experience less suffering at the constant changes that we experience. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

That's true. I like the analogy you made. Fluidity is the key. Thank you so much for stopping by. !ALIVE
