Fun with rings and tiny flowers - monomad - eng/esp

From a few days ago I have at home a bouquet of very small flowers that accompanied some roses. Roses that no longer exist, but these small ones persist, and with their pale colors they preserve this kind of almost perennial beauty. I took them as an excuse to take some detail shots with my engagement ring and another one that my daughter wears very often. I placed them in my little light box, on a highly polished black surface against a black background. With my macro lens I did several explorations of angles and compositions, until I finally settled on these three images you see here. The drama of black and white is unsurpassed in these cases. I hope you enjoy them!

De hace unos días tengo en casa un ramo de flores muy pequeñas que acompañaban a unas rosas. Las rosas ya no existen, pero estas pequeñas persisten, y con sus colores pálidos conservan este tipo de belleza casi perenne. Las tomé como excusa para hacer algunas fotos de detalles con mi anillo de compromiso y otro que usa muy a menudo mi hija. Los coloqué en mi pequeña caja de luz, en una superficie negra muy pulida contra un fondo negro. Con mi lente macro hice varias exploraciones de ángulos y composiciones, hasta que al fin me quedé con éstas tres imágenes que ven aquí. El dramatismo del blanco y negro es insuperable en estos casos. Espero que las disfruten!
